LAINEY
Three Years Later
Kalix holds his bike keys out to me. “I don’t like this” he says, and I know it’s killing him inside to hand his baby over.
I flash him my cheesiest grin as I pull them from his fingers. “But you want me to be happy, right?”
He squints at me, a playful smirk on his face. “You’re using my love for you as a weapon, and you know it’s physically impossible for me to tell you no.” He places a kiss on the tip of my nose.
I smirk back at him, “You told me no when I asked to try that scene from the audiobook that I was commissioned to do art for. The one we listened to on the way to Salem last year. ”
The smile he had fades as he grabs my chin. “That’s the one exception. I don’t share. You’re mine. It’s not happening. End of discussion.” My heart races as his eyes bore into mine. “Now get on the bike.”
I bite my bottom lip, pulling on it before letting it go.
I stand on my tiptoes and place a soft kiss to the corner of his mouth before stepping back and clapping my hands making the keys jingle.
“Let’s go, Goldberg.” He chuckles at my nickname for him as he helps me onto the bike.
We binge-watched the whole series together when we both had the flu last year.
I called him the name as a joke and it just stuck.
After four years, he still stalks me and keeps tabs on everything I do. We once had a conversation about the depth of his obsession with me, but we never discussed it again. It’s as if we have a mutual understanding that it’s a topic we don’t discuss openly.
Whenever I’m at work, getting coffee, doing something with Lexie, or running on the treadmill at Flex, I often get random goosebumps before the faint smell of cigarettes and leather fills the air. I never look around too hard to find him, but I know he’s always there in the shadows.
He is always looking out for me and doing things to make sure that I’m happy and comfortable. I know that I can always rely on him to make sure that I’m taken care of, especially when I don’t have the motivation to do it myself.
His obsession with me only makes my love for him grow stronger, and I’m about to show him just how much.
I don’t torment him for long before I stop in front of Blackstone Ink and remove my helmet.
“Well, that was fast.” He says as he lifts his visor. “I expected you to at least make me suffer for a half hour before stopping.”
I dismount and turn toward him. Rolling my eyes and smiling, I say, “Well, it looks like you’re still in one piece, so you couldn’t have suffered too much.”
He just shakes his head at me and takes his helmet off. Looking around the shopping center he says, “So, what do you wanna do next? We’ve already eaten. Maybe I can take you into this candle store to get you some of that good-smelling shit you like.”
I laugh. “Yeah, we can do that. But first….” I stretch my mouth into the biggest cheesiest grin I can muster and throw both of my hands out, directing his attention to the tattoo shop sign.
He follows my movements, glancing between me and the shop. With a confused smirk, he asks, “What do you have in mind?”
Four hours later
Before Kalix, I never wanted a tattoo. I thought they were cool and pretty, but nothing ever seemed appealing enough for me to permanently mark my body.
After spending nearly half a decade immersed in everything Kalix, my perspective changed. His stunning skin, always on display, captivates me.
As Onyx, the tattoo artist, sprays a cool liquid over my finished piece, I remember to shoot Lexie a happy birthday text.
Happy Birthday!! I hope you two are enjoying your trip.
Can’t wait to celebrate when you get back!!!
As soon as I press send, there's a tap on the door. I look up and grin.
“Perfect timing.” Onyx says to Kalix. “I just finished up.” She smiles at him, but he doesn’t even bother to look in her direction. His focus is on the fresh ink on my thigh.
“Get out.” He nods his head towards the door.
My mouth falls open. “Uh, okay. She was just finishing up. You don’t have to be rude.” I scrunch my nose up at him.
He blows out a breath. “Sorry, baby. I was talking to her.” He nods in the artist’s direction and finally gives her his attention. “Can you give me a few minutes with my girl?” he asks her, politely this time.
She nods briefly, “Yeah, sure. I’ll be out in the lobby.” She gives me a smile before heading out the door.
I focus back on him and smile. He walks over to me, examining the tattoo on my thigh while I sit in the chair. The ink depicts Kalix’s helmet with his name written in cursive and wildflowers emerging from behind it.
“Lainey, I— is this for me?” His expression revealing an emotion I can’t quite decipher. My smile fades as I sit up in the chair. I’m in my underwear, so the leather material feels warm against my cool skin. I turn so he can stand between my legs.
“Y-yeah. I wanted to show you how much you mean to me.” My hands find his chest as I gaze up at him.
He traces around the edge of the intricate tattoo and says, “Fuck, Little Rabbit. I didn’t think it was possible to want or love you more than I already do.”
My heart thumps when his eyes collide with mine. I give him a soft smile as I whisper, “I love you too.”
His lips descend onto mine as he threads his fingers through my hair at the base of my skull. I moan at the sensation.
His other hand glides up my thigh before his thumb brushes over my moist panties. I quickly release his lips. “Kalix, we can’t do tha?—”
He cuts me off by fusing his mouth back to mine and sliding the wet fabric to the side before sinking two digits in me so easily.
“Oh my god… Kalix.” I breathe out, pulling away again, looking at the wide open door to the booth .
“Shhhh…” he whispers in my ear. “We don’t need an audience.” He glides his fingers in and out of my soaked pussy. With his other hand, he undoes his belt. “Keep your eyes on the door,” he commands. “I don’t feel like cleaning someone’s blood up today.”
Suddenly, the possibility of someone walking in on us is enticing.
I place my hands on his shoulders and keep my eyes on the door as he slips his thick cock into me. “Kalix.” I whisper his name and he flattens his palm over my mouth.
“I’ll make this quick. I need to get you home and in our bed,” he says as he slams into me, fucking me raw just the way he loves it.
I keep my eyes glued to the doorway, my pussy clenching when someone walks by on their phone.
My moan is muffled when my release hits me shortly after, and Kalix stills while he pours himself into me.
He places a wet kiss to my lips, still inside of me. “You’re so fucking pretty when you come.”
You’d think I’d be used to the way he talks to me, but it still makes me blush.
I run my hands through his hair and gasp, remembering he just finished with his, too. “Let me see your tattoo!”
He smirks at me, “I thought you’d never ask.”
He pulls out of me and grips his dick. I flick my gaze between him and his large cock that has black ink on it now. “What is—” I lean closer and tilt my head. “KALIX! OH…. MY …. GOD!” I yell out, then immediately change my tone. “You got my name on your fucking dick?!” I whisper-shout.
“I—” he goes to say something but I talk over him.
“You just got a tattoo on your dick and you fucked me with it… bare!” I jump up from the chair and fumble around to find my shorts.
“So, that’s your limit?” He says blankly.
I freeze with my shorts almost over my thighs, then slowly turn to him.
“My limit? What are you—” I pause briefly before yanking the shorts up the rest of the way and buttoning them.
Kalix stares at me as I walk up to him and place my hands on both cheeks.
“I love you, Kalix. I love that you do crazy shit because of me. Because you’re obsessed and love me so deeply.
But babe, please, for the love of god, never do something like that again.
” I smile at him and the corner of his mouth lifts.
“I would hate for it to fall off from getting infected.”
His smile brightens. “So what you’re saying is, I should probably wash it.”
I crinkle my nose and chuckle, “That would be smart.”
He places a kiss to my forehead as I wrap my arms around him. “Alright, let’s get out of here. You have a dick to wash.”
My laughter is muffled in his chest as he squeezes me tightly.
For the first time in my life, I feel at peace.
I no longer have to look over my shoulder constantly, or worry about creeps like Alex.
Of course, I still have anxiety. That’s never going to go away.
But with Kalix, everything becomes much easier to handle because I know he is always there… watching over me and loving me.
