“That’s right, Lovie… let me hear you.” I worked her slow, just enough to get her right to that edge… then I stopped.
Her eyes flew open. “Why—”
“Because I want to watch you fall apart for me,” I said, dragging her up to straddle me. “You give me that, I’ll give you what you want.”
I slid into her deep, holding her hips still so she could feel every inch of me. She gasped as she dug into my chest.
“Yeah… that’s it,” I praised.
Her head tilted back, and I kissed the curve of her neck, my voice rough in her ear. “You bet not run either.”
She tried to match my rhythm, but I slowed it down on purpose, letting her frustration build until she was practically shaking.
“Rashad, please…”
“You begging, baby?”
She nodded, breathless.
“Get what you need then.” My pace was relentless as I went hard and deep. Her moans got louder, her nails piercing my skin and her walls tightening around me until she was done.
“That’s it… give daddy that shit,” I whispered, holding her in place.
“Rashad,” she whimpered as I felt her pussy grip me tighter as her orgasm surfaced. The shit was so impactful that it caused mine to erupt before I had a chance to stop it.
“Mmm…fuck,” I grunted through my release, pulling her against me in the process.
When it was over, I kissed her slowly, still inside her, like I wasn’t in any rush to let her go… so I didn’t.

sometime later…
The gym was quiet enough for me to hear the soft squeak of Sophi’s sneakers on the mats. She’d been looking around like she belonged here, eyes watching every little thing. She seemed genuinely interested in what was going on around her.
“You look good as fuck, Lovie. I should’ve thought about that shit before I asked you to come with me.” I wrapped my arms around her waist and kissed her neck.
She glanced back, smiling. “It’s just workout clothes. Nothing special about it.” She shrugged.
“I beg to differ,” I said, eyes dropping just enough to make my point. “You tryna go in my office real quick?” I smirked.
Before she could respond, the door clanged open.
“Man, get off that damn girl and go hit a bag or some shit.” Deion called, striding in with MJ behind him.
“How ’bout I hit yo’ ass instead.” I frowned.
“Wassup, Sophi?” MJ spoke. “You let this nigga drag you down here today?”
“No, I wanted to come. I got bored sitting around, and I know my cousins are sick of me being at their houses,” she replied.
“You could’ve hit up Robin. She’on do shit all day either,” he laughed.
“I’ma tell her you said that shit, too,” I instigated before turning my attention back to Sophi. “I’m about to start my training. Stay close, aight.”
“Okay.”
After making sure Sophi was good, I crossed over into the ring.
Once I got in my element, I zoned out, but I still wanted her close.
Every so often I would look over to make sure she was good, and every time I did, she was zoned in on me.
It wasn’t until I finished my last round that I noticed she wasn’t in the same spot.
I scanned the room, and I couldn’t put my eyes on her.
“Aye, where Sophi go?” I asked Deion.
“Said she was going to the bathroom.” As soon as he said that, I caught movement by the back walkway.
My jaw clenched when I saw Boom standing in front of her, his frame blocking her path.
She was trying to go around him, but he stepped the same way and grabbed her arm.
That shit had to be triggering because her eyes darted around him until they landed on me.
She was looking for me to save her, but she didn’t have to look long or hard.
I didn’t even think. I went straight into action.
Deion and MJ fell in step behind me, but I was already on Boom before my mind or them caught up.
I didn’t say a word. I let my fist do it for me when I tried my best to dislocate his jaw.
He swung, but I ate that shit and came right back, following up with blows to his face and a few body shots.
This nigga was gone get enough of fucking with me.
“Yo, Juke!” MJ’s voice boomed from behind me, but I wasn’t listening.
One of Boom’s boys stepped forward like he was gone do something, but Deion had his gun out before the dude could blink. “I’m too pretty to be fighting, but I got seventeen homeboys that love that shit.” His voice dropped low. “Give me a reason to fuck the city up ’bout this one.”
By the time MJ and Deion pulled me off Boom, his lip was busted, and his eye was already swelling.
Deion looked down at him and laughed. “You really tryna fight this man for twenty bands when you just got your ass beat for free? You a dumbass nigga. You might wanna be a fisherman or some shit because fighting clearly ain’t yo’ sport. ”
After his boys helped him up, Boom wiped blood off his chin. “This ain’t over.”
I lunged for him again, but MJ’s hand hit my chest, holding me back.
“Let it go,” he said.
I jerked away from him and scanned the room until I spotted Sophi disappearing into my office.
She was sitting on the edge of my desk, fingers twisted together, and her eyes fixed on the floor like she was trying to steady herself.
I shut the door behind me and stepped in front of her, making her look at me. “You good?”
“I―I’m fine,” she said softly, though her voice didn’t sound like it.
I tilted my head, studying her face. “You sure ’bout that?”
Her shoulders lifted a little. “Are you?”
I gave her a crooked smirk before pulling her body into mine. “Never been better.”
“I don’t want to cause trouble for you, Rashad.”
That pulled a low laugh out of me, one that had no humor in it. I braced my hands on the desk, caging her in. “You think you causing trouble for me, Lovie?” I shook my head slowly. “Baby… you’re not the problem here. You’re the reason I don’t walk away from one.”
“I just—”
“―You not gone sit here and act like you’re some burden I gotta carry,” I cut in. “Anybody who even thinks about putting their hands on you involuntarily signed their death certificate.”
She searched my face, like she was weighing how serious I was.
I leaned in, and kissed her lips. “You can bet your life on that. I’ll handle anybody who even looks at you wrong. That’s not a promise, baby… it’s a fact.”
Her breath caught, and I could see in her eyes she wanted to argue, but she didn’t have the words.
I straightened up enough to run a hand along her jaw, forcing her to meet my eyes.
“You with me, aight. So, that means you’re untouchable.
You’on have to worry ’bout you ex nigga or the next nigga as long as I’m around. Aight?”
She nodded and laid her head on my chest. I’on know what the fuck we were doing, but I knew that whatever it was, I was keep doing the shit.
