Noah is standing there with the door slightly open just staring at me. My smile fades.

“Noah? You okay?” I hold the glass up to him. “Do you need some water?”

“Oh, yes. He needs water because he is THUR-STY!!!” Igor hisses in amusement.

That seems to get Noah’s attention enough that he closes the door as he clears his throat. “Uh, sorry about that. I was just a little, er, shocked?”

“More like sporting a boner for you, Iris.” Igor is being oh so helpful tonight. Noah’s face flushes bright red.

“Oh.” I eye him shyly as he sends me a ravishing smile.

“You look breathtaking. I have a hard time processing for a few moments.” He steps into the kitchen, taking the glass from me. Placing it to the side, he hooks his thumbs into my jean pockets, pulling me against his lower body. “I’m almost tempted to say fuck our date and just take you to your room, but that would be unfair to you.” His light brown eyes sparkle. “No arguments. We have an adventure of a date ahead of us!”

I'm about to say fuck the date since my legs are about five seconds from wrapping around his waist and having him take me right there on the bar.

“An adventure?” Igor sounds intrigued. “You gotta tell me about it when you get back in the morning!” She cackles this before leaving the room.

“In the morning?” Tilting my head slightly, I narrow my eyes at him. “Do I need to pack a bag?”

“Nope!” He is way too cheery. “I have it all planned out. Let’s head out, shall we?” We step back from each other as he bows, holding out the crook of his arm for me. “This will be fun!”
