Leovar stared up into Xander's wild face, his jaw going loose as stab after stab of delight shot up his spine.

Xander looked like an avenging angel, his blond hair flying around him and his eyes catching the sunlight to glow gold.

He wasn't human anymore. More like a divine creature formed of sunshine and stone.

And Leo had never felt so humbled by a lover.

He wanted more!

“Yes! Just like that, Xander. Fuck me hard! Sheath yourself to the hilt.”

Xander bared his teeth and slammed harder into Leo.

A shiver of ecstasy sliced through him and then exploded.

Legs quaking, Leo came. Jets of hot cum hit Xander's chest, and it drove him even wilder.

The slapping sound of their flesh became ancient drumbeats.

The beautiful room vanished into a haze of lust. The slide of Xander's cock inside Leo was a claiming rod that branded him on the inside.

There was no coming back from this. Leo knew it.

This was the start of their forever. From now on, they weren't Xander and Leovar, two separate people.

They were a couple. One did not exist without the other.

Leo's body shook with the end of his orgasm and the knowledge that filled him.

It was all he'd unknowingly wanted. But now that he had Xander, and Xander had reclaimed his birthright, they could fight for that future together.

Leo wasn't going to share this with a wife.

Not even a fake wife. This was Xander's.

It was theirs alone. No one was going to take it from them.

“Leo!” Xander roared and locked up against him.

“Yes, love. Come inside me. Let me feel it. Give me a bit of yourself to keep.”

Body arched and straining, Xander found his release and filled Leo. He shuddered and jerked and then fell forward to lay his head beside Leo's on the bed. Still shaking through the end of his orgasm, Xander nuzzled Leo's face and kissed his cheek.

“I love you.” Leo turned to get a proper kiss.

But Xander eased back to say, “I love you too. No matter what happens.”

Grinning, Leo turned on his side to face Xander. “I don't care what happens as long as we are together. It's us now, Xander. You have the power to fight for us with me. Beside me. We can stand up to my father together.”

“Maybe we should let him declare me the rightful Duke before we launch our attack.”

Leovar chuckled. “Yes, you're probably right. But then we can stand up to him.”

“Are you sure? You could lose so much.”

Leo looked around. “But now I have a rich duke to look after me.”

“Oh, I see now. That's why you helped me get my title. You wanted someone to coddle you.”

Leovar went serious. “I want you , Xander. I don't care how we live. As long as we live together in love.”

Xander went still. His stare looked strange. Troubled. But then it cleared. “I would never allow you to live as I have. You deserve far better. I will provide it for you even if I have to go back to working as a servant.”

A shivering filled Leo's chest and then burst into an explosion of emotion. “You are the most amazing man I've ever met. But you will never have to work like that again. Once my father gives you your title, he can't take it back. Not unless you turn traitor or something horrible like that.”

Again, a strange expression came over Xander's face before he answered. “Can't he view our relationship as a betrayal?”

Leovar sighed and considered it. “I don't think so. He might get angry, even furious, but I have faith that he loves me. He wouldn't hurt you after he learns how much that would hurt me.”

“I can't believe I have all of this. A single day, and I've gone from a penniless servant to a wealthy Duke beloved by a prince. I—”

A knock came at the door.

Xander looked toward it. “Yes?”

“Your Grace, the King has sent you a summons. You are to present yourself to him immediately.”

“Very good. Thank you.”

“Shall we prepare a carriage for you?”

“No,” Leo called out as he grinned at Xander. “The Duke will ride back to the castle with me in the royal carriage.”

“Yes, Your Highness.”

Leo leaned in to add, “Where you belong.”

Xander lifted a brow at him. “I thought we weren't going to provoke him? ”

“Damn it, you're right. Wait!” Leo called after the servant. “Ready the Duke's carriage!”

“Yes, Your Highness!”

Xander laughed as he sat up. “How about we meet back here later tonight? Sneaking around will be far more fun with me as the master of this house.”

“Because we won't be sneaking.” Leovar sat up and kissed Xander. “Be confident with my father, but not cocky. Show him respect, but don't cower. You are the Duke, and you have been abused for years. Claim that, but don't blame him. Let him blame himself.”

“Leo, I'll be fine.” Xander kissed his forehead. “Go on now. Get dressed. I have to find something to wear. Hopefully, between my brothers' closets, I can gather a complete outfit.”

“Don't worry, love. I'll help you.”

“You have from the very beginning, Leo. Thank you, my loyal Prince.”

“You're welcome, Your Grace.”
