FOUR YEARS LATER
PRESS RELEASE
The hottest gig in town went off without a hitch last night at Radio City Music Hall in New York City.
Four years ago, the band went on hiatus after a scandal involving their bass guitarist, which ended in tragedy. The recording of their second album was put on hold, and Saint moved to Virginia with her new husband, Security Specialist, Jacob Irons, to start a family .
The music world mourned the band’s loss until two years ago when Saint’s Rapture began to appear in bars throughout Virginia, Maryland, and Wyoming, delighting the patrons by playing impromptu gigs.
The band blew up on social media, along with the hashtag #whereissaintplayingtoday, and their first album, Empty, re-entered the charts, reaching the number one spot in eighteen countries.
The long-awaited second album, Molten Ice, was released one year later and has been another resounding worldwide success, going platinum in twenty-three countries and breaking all previous streaming records.
Tickets for last night’s gig raised a total of eleven million dollars for charities that support child victims of abuse and trafficking, and online bullying and trolling.
The most significant sum of three million dollars was kindly donated by action-hero star Hunter Page and his husband, hairstylist to the stars, Tristan Forbes-Page.
Saint’s Rapture were also delighted to announce last night that their newly formed record label, BeatsPM, has signed Kady Stone to a five-album deal and is looking forward to creating musical magic with the talented young singer-songwriter.
Saint’s Rapture would like to thank everybody for their ongoing support and also announce a special concert in collaboration with Dischordium and other musicians at Madison Square Gardens, with all proceeds going to the aforementioned children’s charities .
