Page 5 of HIS GIRL.

As she walked into the coffee shop, she couldn't help but feel a sense of confidence and sass. Her dance practice outfit was turning heads, and she knew she looked good. The tight-fitting shorts and crop top were showcasing her toned physique, and her long hair was bouncing with each step.

Eryx was already seated at a table, sipping on a coffee and looking adorable. His eyes locked onto hers as she approached, and she could see the appreciation and admiration in his gaze.

"Hey," he said, standing up to greet her. "You look amazing."

She smiled, feeling a flutter in her chest. "Thanks," she said, trying to sound casual despite the fact that she was feeling anything but. "I just came from dance practice."

Eryx's eyes roamed over her outfit, and she could see the desire and interest in his gaze. "Well, you definitely look like you're ready to take on the world," he said, his voice low and husky.

She laughed, feeling a sense of excitement and anticipation. She had a feeling that this was going to be a very interesting coffee date.

As they chatted, Eryx leaned in closer, his face inches from hers. She could feel the warmth of his breath on her skin, and her heart began to beat faster.

"I'm really glad we're doing this," Eryx said, his voice low and husky. "I feel like I've been wanting to get to know you better since we met yesterday."

She smiled, feeling a sense of excitement and nervousness. "I know exactly what you mean," she said. "I've been thinking about you nonstop since our conversation in class."

Eryx's eyes locked onto hers, and she could see the desire and interest in his gaze. "Really?" he asked, his voice barely above a whisper.

She nodded, feeling a sense of boldness wash over her. "Really," she said. "I couldn't stop thinking about the way you made me feel when we talked."

Eryx's face leaned in closer, his lips inches from hers.

"I couldn't stop thinking about it either," he said.

"I think we have a connection here."

As Eryx's face leaned in closer, she could feel the tension between them building.

She knew that he was about to kiss her, and she couldn't help but wonder what it would be like.

Just as Eryx's lips were about to touch hers, the coffee shop's barista called out their order. Eryx pulled back, a look of disappointment on his face.

"I guess we'll have to wait a little longer for that kiss," he said, smiling at her.

She laughed, feeling a sense of relief wash over her. She wasn't sure if she was ready for a kiss, but she was definitely enjoying the flirtation.

As they got up to grab their drinks, Eryx put his hand on the small of her back, guiding her through the crowded coffee shop.

She felt a shiver run down her spine at his touch, and she knew that she was in trouble.

She was already falling for him, and she didn't know how to stop it.

As the afternoon wore on, the coffee shop began to empty, and Eryx glanced at his watch.

"I don't want this day to end," he said, his eyes locked on hers.

"Would you like to check out a dance studio with me?

I've been wanting to try out this new hip-hop class, and it would be more fun with you. "

Her heart skipped a beat as she considered the offer. She loved dancing, and the thought of moving her body to the rhythm with Eryx by her side was tantalizing. "That sounds like a blast," she said, a smile spreading across her face.

Eryx grinned, his eyes sparkling with excitement. "Awesome! Let's go." He tossed a few bucks on the table to cover their drinks, and they headed out of the coffee shop, walking hand in hand to the dance studio a few blocks away.

As they entered the studio, the sound of pulsating music and the hum of conversation enveloped them. They signed in and made their way to the hip-hop class, which was just about to start. The instructor, a high-energy woman with a big smile, welcomed them and began to teach the choreography.

As they danced, she couldn't help but feel a sense of freedom and joy.

Eryx was a great dancer, and he spun and flipped her across the floor with ease.

She laughed and spun, her heart racing with excitement, as they lost themselves in the music and the moment.

As the music dropped, Eryx and Hera exploded into motion, their bodies moving in perfect sync as they devoured the dance floor.

The fast-paced rhythm pulsed through the air, but they glided across the floor with effortless ease, their feet stomping out a staccato beat that left the audience gasping in awe.

Eryx's hands grasped Hera's waist, his fingers digging into her hips as he spun her around, her long hair flying out behind her like a golden whip.

She landed in a deep lunge, her leg extended behind her, and Eryx dropped down beside her, their bodies moving in perfect tandem as they popped and locked to the beat.

The music built to a frenetic crescendo, and Eryx and Hera responded in kind, their movements growing faster, more intricate, and more sensual. They spun and flipped across the floor, their bodies entwining and separating in a blur of motion that left the audience breathless.

As the music reached its climax, Eryx grasped Hera's hand, and they launched into a dizzying sequence of lifts and turns, their bodies soaring through the air like they were weightless.

The audience erupted into cheers and applause as they landed in a final, dramatic pose, their chests heaving with exertion, their eyes locked on each other in a moment of pure, unadulterated passion.

As they froze in their final pose, the music died away, and the audience erupted into a frenzy of cheers and applause. Eryx and Hera stood there, basking in the adoration of the crowd, their chests heaving with exertion, their eyes locked on each other in a moment of pure, unadulterated passion.

Slowly, they came back to reality, their faces breaking out into wide, triumphant grins. They took a triumphant bow, their arms around each other's shoulders, as the audience cheered and whistled.

As they rose from their bow, Eryx turned to Hera, his eyes shining with excitement. "That was incredible!" he exclaimed, his voice barely above a whisper. "You're an amazing dancer!"

Hera's face glowed with pride, her eyes sparkling with happiness. "Thanks," she said, her voice barely above a whisper. "You're not so bad yourself!"

Eryx chuckled, his eyes crinkling at the corners. "I think we make a pretty good team," he said, his voice low and husky.

Hera's heart skipped a beat as she met his gaze, her pulse racing with excitement.

She knew exactly what he meant, and she couldn't help but agree.

They did make a pretty good team – on and off the dance floor.

As they stood there, locked in a gaze that seemed to speak volumes, the audience began to disperse, chattering excitedly about the incredible dance routine they had just witnessed.

Eryx and Hera barely noticed, their attention focused solely on each other.

Finally, Eryx broke the silence, his voice low and husky. "Want to grab some dinner with me?" he asked, his eyes never leaving hers.

Hera's heart skipped a beat as she nodded, her smile spreading across her face. "I'd love to," she said, her voice barely above a whisper.

Eryx grinned, his eyes crinkling at the corners. "Great," he said, offering her his arm. "I know just the place."

As they walked out of the dance studio, arm in arm, Hera couldn't help but feel a sense of excitement and anticipation.

She had a feeling that this was just the beginning of something special.

They strolled through the quiet streets, the evening air filled with the sweet scent of blooming flowers and the soft chirping of crickets.

Eryx led her to a small, cozy restaurant tucked away in a corner of the neighborhood.

The sign above the door read "Bella Vita," and the warm, inviting glow of the candles in the window made Hera feel like she was in for a treat.

Inside, the restaurant was just as charming, with rustic wooden tables and vintage Italian posters adorning the walls. Eryx was greeted with a warm smile by the owner, a jovial Italian man named Giovanni, who showed them to a quiet table by the window.

As they perused the menu, Eryx leaned in close, his voice low and conspiratorial. "I'm so glad we did that dance routine together," he said, his eyes sparkling with mischief. "I was a little nervous at first, but you were amazing."

Hera's cheeks flushed with pleasure, and she smiled up at him, feeling a sense of connection that went beyond just a shared love of dance. "You were pretty great yourself," she said, her voice barely above a whisper.

Eryx grinned, his eyes crinkling at the corners, and Hera's heart skipped a beat as she realized that she was falling for him, hard.

As they ordered their meals and waited for their food to arrive, the conversation flowed easily between them. They talked about everything from their favorite books and movies to their childhood memories and dreams for the future.

Hera was struck by how easy it was to talk to Eryx, how comfortable she felt around him. She found herself opening up to him in ways she never had with anyone before, sharing secrets and fears that she had kept hidden for years.

Eryx listened intently, his eyes locked on hers, his expression empathetic and understanding. He asked insightful questions and offered words of encouragement, making Hera feel seen and heard in a way that was both exhilarating and terrifying.

As their food arrived, they dug in, savoring the delicious flavors and textures. Hera was surprised by how much she enjoyed Eryx's company, how much she felt like she could be herself around him.

As they finished their meals and prepared to leave, Eryx reached across the table and took Hera's hand. His touch sent shivers down her spine, and she felt a spark of electricity run through her body.

"I had an amazing time tonight," Eryx said, his eyes locked on hers. "Would you like to do it again sometime soon?"

Hera's heart skipped a beat as she nodded, her voice barely above a whisper. "I'd love to," she said, her eyes locked on his.

As they walked out of the restaurant, Eryx checked his watch. "I've got an early ballet class tomorrow, but I'll pick you up at 7 pm for our date, okay?"

Hera nodded, smiling. "Sounds perfect. I've got a contemporary class tomorrow afternoon, but I'll make sure to be ready by 7."

Eryx grinned. "Great. I'm looking forward to it. And hey, maybe we can even work on our pas de deux routine for the upcoming showcase?"

Hera's eyes lit up. "That would be amazing! I've been practicing my lifts, and I think we could really nail that routine."

Eryx chuckled. "I knew you'd be on top of it. Alright, I'll see you tomorrow night, and we can work on it some more."

As they said their goodbyes, Hera couldn't help but feel a sense of excitement and anticipation.

She was looking forward to their date, and to working on their dance routine together.

Being a student at the dance academy was demanding, but with Eryx by her side, she felt like she could conquer anything. ...
