Page 4 of HIS GIRL.
As she walked to her next class, she couldn't shake off the feeling of excitement and nervousness. She had a feeling that Eryx's invitation to study together was more than just a casual suggestion.
She tried to focus on her class, but her mind kept wandering back to Eryx and the way he had looked at her in the hallway. She couldn't help but wonder what he was thinking, and what he had planned for their study session.
As the day drew to a close, she made her way to the library, her heart beating slightly faster with anticipation. She spotted Eryx sitting at a table in the back, his eyes fixed on her as she approached.
He nodded curtly as she sat down across from him, his expression unreadable. But as she met his gaze, she saw a flicker of something there, something that looked almost like desire.
"So," he said, his voice low and even. "Shall we get started on our... studying?"
She smiled, feeling a sense of nervous excitement. "I suppose we should," she said, trying to sound casual despite the tension between them.
Eryx nodded, his eyes never leaving hers. "Good," he said, his voice low and husky. "I have a few... ideas for how we can study together."
As he spoke, he reached out and brushed a strand of hair behind her ear, his touch sending shivers down her spine. She felt a rush of excitement, her heart pounding in her chest.
"I think we can learn a lot from each other," he said, his voice dripping with suggestion.
She swallowed hard, trying to process what was happening. Eryx was always so stoic, so in control. But now, he seemed... different. More relaxed, more sensual.
As she met his gaze, she saw something there that made her heart skip a beat. Desire. Want. Need.
And in that moment, she knew that their study session was going to be a lot more interesting than she had anticipated.
Eryx's eyes seemed to burn with intensity as he leaned in closer, his face inches from hers. She could feel the warmth of his breath on her skin, sending shivers down her spine.
"I think we can learn a lot from each other," he repeated, his voice low and husky.
She felt a rush of excitement as he reached out and gently brushed his fingers against her cheek. It was a soft, gentle touch, but it sent sparks flying through her entire body.
As she looked into his eyes, she saw something there that made her heart skip a beat. A spark of attraction, a flame of desire.
And in that moment, she knew that she was in trouble.
She was actually falling for a guy she just met on the first day of school.
Eryx's fingers trailed down her cheek, sending shivers down her spine.
She felt like she was melting into his touch, like she was losing herself in the depths of his eyes.
He leaned in closer, his lips inches from hers. She could feel the tension between them building, like a spark waiting to ignite.
And then, just as suddenly as it had started, everything stopped. Eryx's fingers froze on her skin, his eyes locked on hers.
He pulled back, his expression unreadable. "I'm sorry," he said, his voice low and rough. "I didn't mean to do that."
She felt a pang of disappointment, like she had been left hanging on the edge of something amazing. But as she looked into Eryx's eyes, she saw something there that made her heart skip a beat.
A spark of attraction, a flame of desire. And something more, something deeper.
"Eryx," she said, her voice barely above a whisper. "Don't apologize. I wanted you to do that."
Eryx's eyes locked onto hers, his gaze burning with intensity. For a moment, they just stared at each other, the air between them thick with tension.
Then, without a word, Eryx reached out and pulled her close. His lips crashed down on hers, sending sparks flying through her entire body.
She felt like she was melting into his kiss, like she was losing herself in the depths of his eyes. It was like nothing she had ever experienced before.
As they kissed, the world around them melted away. They were the only two people in the universe, lost in a sea of passion and desire.
Eryx's hands roamed over her body, sending shivers down her spine. She felt like she was on fire, like she was burning up with desire.
And yet, even as she felt like she was losing control, she knew that she was safe with Eryx. She knew that he would never hurt her, that he would always be there to catch her if she fell.
As they pulled back from the kiss, Eryx's eyes locked onto hers, his gaze burning with intensity. For a moment, they just stared at each other, the air between them thick with tension.
Then, Eryx's expression softened, and he smiled. "I have to go," he said, his voice low and rough. "I have another class."
She nodded, feeling a pang of disappointment. "Me too," she said.
Eryx leaned in and brushed his lips against hers once more. "I'll see you later," he whispered.
She smiled, feeling a flutter in her chest. "I'll look forward to it," she replied.
With one last glance, Eryx turned and walked away, leaving her to make her way to her next class. As she watched him go, she couldn't help but laugh, well this isn't how she expected her first day to go... regardless she liked it..
She walked into her spacious, elegantly decorated home, the soft glow of the chandelier in the foyer illuminating the marble floor beneath her feet. The mansion was a testament to her family's wealth and status, with its lavish furnishings and impeccable design.
As she made her way to the kitchen, she passed by the floor-to-ceiling windows that offered a stunning view of the manicured gardens and the private tennis court. The kitchen itself was a culinary dream, with top-of-the-line appliances and a massive center island perfect for food preparation.
She opened the refrigerator, revealing an impressive array of gourmet ingredients and beverages. She smiled to herself as she thought about Eryx and their kiss, feeling a sense of excitement and possibility. Little did she know, her life was about to become even more complicated.
As she sat at the kitchen island, she couldn't help but replay the kiss with Eryx over and over in her mind. She had never felt such a strong connection with someone before, and it was both exhilarating and terrifying.
She took a sip of her water, trying to calm her racing thoughts. She had no idea what Eryx was thinking or feeling, or if he was even interested in seeing her again.
Just as she was starting to get caught up in her thoughts, her phone buzzed on the counter. She picked it up, hoping to see Eryx's name on the screen.
And then, her heart skipped a beat as she saw his text: "Hey, I couldn't stop thinking about you. Want to grab coffee tomorrow?"
She stared at the text, a smile spreading across her face as she read the words. But as she got to the end, her mind suddenly kicked in and she wondered... how did he get her number?
She didn't remember giving it to him, and she was pretty sure she hadn't posted it online anywhere. A faint sense of unease crept over her, but she pushed it aside as she typed out a response.
"Hey, I'd love to grab coffee," she wrote. "But how did you get my number?"
She hesitated for a moment before hitting send, wondering what his response would be. A few seconds later, her phone buzzed again.
"Sorry, I asked one of our classmates for it," he wrote. "I hope that's okay. By the way, what's your favorite coffee drink?"
She felt a slight relief wash over her, glad that he hadn't somehow magically obtained her number. She smiled to herself, thinking about how eager he must have been to ask her out.
"I'm a latte kind of girl," she replied, typing out her response. "How about you?"
She sent the text and waited for his response, feeling a sense of excitement and anticipation. A few moments later, her phone buzzed again.
"Same here," he wrote. "I know a great coffee shop downtown. Want to meet there tomorrow at 2?"
She smiled as she read the text, feeling a sense of excitement about their upcoming date. She quickly typed out a response, confirming their plans.
"Sounds perfect," she wrote. "I'll meet you there at 2 tomorrow. Looking forward to it!"
She sent the text and felt a sense of anticipation wash over her. She couldn't wait to see Eryx again and get to know him better.
As she put her phone down, she felt a sense of happiness and contentment. She had a feeling that this was going to be the start of something special.....
