Page 83 of Her Dark Obsessions
My head starts to buzz with dizziness, I’m about to black out from being taken at this angle.
I start to come.
“Ahhh! Yes! Yes, Adonis!” My voice is hoarse as my guttural cries carry out into the forest.
“I love your needy moans,” his breathy, deep voice prolongs my climax.
With a primal roar, Adonis finishes inside of me while slapping my ass one more time.
Once we are both done, he removes his blindfold. His inky shadows wiggle down my body, caressing me tenderly on their way down.
I pull up my pants and turn to face him. He pulls me into his arms, and I rest my head on his hard chest.
“Are you okay, baby?” He strokes my back, and I nod my head up and down.
“So, this place?” I push myself away from his embrace and cross my arms in annoyance.
“Hey, you found it,” he says, feigning innocence. He waves his hand over his face, letting his shadows take his beautiful mask.
“Yeah, but you told me what it was seconds before sinking balls deep in me! You put a gag over me so I couldn’t talk!”
“Alright, so no gag ever again?” He jokes, and anger flashes across my face. “That’s not what I meant and you know it,” I scoff.
I go to storm out of the door and back into the pouring rain, but he materializes in front of me, blocking my way out.
“Ugh!”
His jaw ticks, and his muscles flex. My eyes dart down his fully tattooed arms and hands, and fuck; he is too pretty to stay mad at. He’s right; I’m the one who found this place. It’s not like he made me come in here.
I glare at him, trying to look mad.
His eyes are lit with a predatory delight, “You fucking loved it, Dani. You loved that I was fucking you,my mate, the woman I love, in this little house. Shit, I hope Octavia comes back just so she can smell you in this house. Smell what we just did. I’m a fucking animal when it comes to you, Dani. A beast that can’t be tamed. And I want every single person to know it. What we have Dani, you and I,” he waves his hand in between the two of us, “is beyond cosmic love.”
I wrap my arms around his strong torso, placing my head against his chest. “Yeah, it’s pretty great, isn’t it?” His chuckle vibrates in my ear as he wraps his arms around me and we disappear.
Moments later, I’m back in his house, lying on his bed. I hear water running in his bathroom.
Shit, the paper!I reach my hand towards my chest and find that it’s still neatly rolled up and sticking in the center of my bra.
I take it out and examine it again.
“Whatcha got there?” Adonis asks as he walks from his hallway to me.
“I don’t know. I found it when I was hiding from you. In the closet. It was hidden in the wall but sticking out, so I grabbed it.”
Adonis’ brows furrow as he takes the paper from my hands. He breaks the wax seal and unties the ribbon, opening the delicate paper.
“It’s a spell,” he says.
It’s a spell in a language that even Adonis can read. He can tell it’s a spell by the forgotten old language and the style in which it is written.
He rolls it back up and places it on his dresser. “We can figure that out later. I made a hot bath for you. I tossed in some lavender, sage, and eucalyptus.” He kisses the top of my head, a sweet gesture that makes my heart swoon.
“You deserve to be pampered and donned upon everyday of your life, Dani… There is wine already poured for you by the tub. I left the bottle.”
Music to my ears.
I smile. “What did I do to deserve you?”
