Page 73 of Her Dark Obsessions
Adonis laughs, sending a ripple of chills down my body, “Not a chance in hell, Jules!”
Jules. My heart melts as Adonis calls her that.
I quickly make my way to Jules and give her a big hug. “Hey, I love you. You know that, right? You’re my best fucking friend.” I pull away and look her in the eyes. She smiles at me, “Of course I know that! You’re my best fucking friend too.”
Amelia walks over to the guys, leaving Jules and me alone for a moment. “I just want to say, Amelia is great. If you are happy, then I am happy. I think if you are ever lucky enough to meet a rare kind of loving soul, don’t let them go. You may never meet someone like that again… Amelia may just be that rare soul for you, Jules.”
Jules flicks my nose. “Ew. Stop being weird,” she scrunches her nose at me and smiles. “Look at you, getting all mushy because you love three hot dudes. Go on, get it, girl. Make me proud.” Jules holds her hand out for Amelia to take, and as I go to walk away, she swats my ass.
“Bye, bitch!” I yell as she and Amelia turn to walk away. She flips me off without turning around and yells back, “Bye, slut!”
My smile darkens when I see all three men staring at me with hungry eyes.
I push past them dramatically and confidently and walk towards a dark alleyway, knowing they will follow like lost puppies.
My heels click on the pavement with every step, and my heart beats out of my chest.
I stop and make sure no one is around to see us.
All clear.
I reach my hand out for whoever to grab and say, “Let’s go play.” Three sets of eyes darken, and my world turns black as I’m swept away.
Chapter 25
Dax
Gods, was our girl going to get it. I can sense this is what she has wanted for a while now.
Now that we are fully bonded, I can feel what she feels. And she wants to be ravished by all three of us at the same time.
This entire night, I couldn’t stop thinking about all the things we were going to do to Dani. My cock has been hard all evening just thinking about it.
I love Dani; there is no doubt in my mind. I’ve loved her since my hand tightly covered that perfect mouth of hers in the woods.
And then when she ran from us…
Each rustle of the leaves and playful glance she didn’t realize she was casting over her shoulder while running, ignited a spark in my heart.
Tonight, we will come together to honor her in ways we’ve never attempted before. We will seize what is rightfully ours while ensuring she receives what she deserves in return.
We are all intertwined with her, just as she is an integral part of our lives. We are united in this bond, a beautifully shared connection that belongs to all of us.
The night my rune symbol tattooed vividly across her inner arm, I knew how she felt about me. At that moment, I could see everything—the depth of her eyes, the way her smile illuminated her entire face—and I knew our bond was real.
She is my mate.
I wanted to tell her how much I loved her then.
Thinking about that night still makes me fucking livid with Adonis since he unceremoniously kicked me and Killian out, obliterating what could have been a beautiful moment of vulnerability. I had been ready to pour my heart out and tell her how deeply in love I was with her, and I know Killian was going to do the same. But no, Adonis had to spoil it.
Bastard.
Luckily, Killian and I had a special night with just us and Dani. Killian was able to tell Dani exactly how he felt. It wasn’t awkward at all being there. In fact, it was quite the opposite. Being there for Kil and Dani added to the moment’s magic; I know they both felt my presence was a comforting embrace rather than an intrusion.
I gently intertwine my fingers with Dani’s delicate hand, and in an instant, we are enveloped by our own shadows, seamlessly guiding her back to our home.
Now sitting on Adonis’ bed, I cradle Dani tenderly in my strong arms; our bond radiates warmth and passion that fills the room.
