Page 9 of He Should Be Mine
I blinked. Did he have me? Was this nice-boy act one of the personas he put on for customers? Was he playing with me?
I sucked in a breath.
He knew my car. He knew the make and model and got close enough to the year. That can’t have been faked.
“Get in,” I said, jerking my head towards my car.
Both his eyebrows raised. “Don’t you wanna know how much I cost first?”
I slowly dragged my gaze over his tacky coat, his cheap knock-off jeans and his battered sneakers.
“I can afford you.”
“Ouch.” Molly said, placing a hand over his heart. Covering his nipple and obscuring it from view.
My eyes narrowed.
“This isn’t how it goes, you know?” Molly said. “We haggle on price. Agree a location and how long. Then wehave a little chat about the things I won’t do… and the things I will.”
The wink he gave me was the filthiest thing I had ever seen. Full of debauchery. Full of promise.
I said nothing. I wasn’t going to negotiate with a whore. I was above such things.
Molly stared back at me. Deep into my eyes, as if trying to read my soul. My spine tingled. It was as if I could feel him inside me. Probing, seeking, judging. Leafing through every terrible thing I had ever done.
Time seemed to slow. The buzz of the streetlight dimmed. I realized I was holding my breath.
Molly sighed. A soft exhale. It was cold enough that I could see his breath. A white mist that drifted away into the shadows behind him.
“You are giving all the red flags, Sugar. If you weren’t so damn hot, I’d be out of here,” he said.
I blinked. I wondered if he was going to run. I wondered if I wanted him to.
“Fuck it!” Molly suddenly said. “Who wants to get old and fat anyway. And this way I get to ride in a Thunderbird.”
He sauntered past me towards my car. Just before getting in, he looked back over his shoulder at me.
“Please fuck me before you murder me, okay?” He winked.
Then he slid into the back seat of my car. Sticking his ass out far more than was necessary.
I gulped and dived into the driver’s seat. My cock was getting all kinds of confused. Confused enough to be uncomfortable. My car roared as I sped away.
Molly giggled in delight. He ran his hands over every inch of the leather seats. He poked at the handles, the ashtrays. Trailed his fingers over the roof lining.
He caught me staring at him through the rearview mirror. Our eyes met and locked.
“So what are you going to do to me, Daddy?” he purred. But it wasn’t his porn voice. It was pure horny-boy-next-door.
“Nothing,” I growled as I snatched my gaze away and focused on the road. “You are for my boss.”
And just like that, a tension had filled the car. Heavy and potent. I could almost taste Molly’s fear. I sped up, just in case he had any stupid thoughts about jumping out.
Surely he hadn’t been genuinely interested in me? I couldn’t believe he had looked into my eyes and found something to trust. It was much more likely that he mistakenly thought he could handle me, and being told he was being delivered to a man he hadn’t vetted, was causing him alarm.
“Shame,” Molly drawled. “Is he as hot as you?”
My hands clenched on the steering wheel. “I’m not gay, so I wouldn’t know.”
