Luckily, all their mates haven’t made their way to the living space yet.

“Omg. Maybe weareforging that mental link. Here, try to get this.” Luca squints, and it doesn’t take telepathy for Nix to know he’s thinking about fucking.

Just as the clock rolls over to 7:20 PM and the wine cellar is five minutes from unlocking, Nix finds his phone in the couch cushions. “Hey, there you are. Convenient!”

Luca rolls his eyes. “You are going to be in trouble if you don’t keep better track of that. You have been warned.”

Nix cackles and winks. “I sure have. Now come here, we need bait.”

“Ooooh, do I get to be bait?” Luca claps.
