Kyrone kissed the top of Jared’s head. “I’m glad. I’ve got weights and a mat at home. There’s nothing in your exercise programme we couldn’t do at my place.”
Jared looked up at him.
“It would save you from having to get home when you’re tired.”
“Home?” Jared echoed, a small smile tugging at his lips. “I don’t live in your flat.”
Kyrone shrugged. “You sleep over often enough. Hey, do you want a drawer?”
“A drawer?”
They’d arrived at the changing rooms, so after collecting Jared’s bag from the locker, they sat down on a bench together.
“To put some clothes in so you don’t have to remember to bring any over.”
“Or so I don’t have to steal your jumper?”
“I like it when you steal my jumper, especially when you’re naked underneath, so you can keep doing that.” He pulled Jared close and peppered his neck with soft kisses. “I’ll clear a drawer out for you,” he murmured. “So you can stay over as often as you want.”
“I’d like that.”
“Quit this place,” Kyrone went on. “I can help you with your therapy at home.”
He wasn’t sure if Jared had been joking about him making a good physical therapist, but the thought was in his head now, worming its way deeper and deeper.
“It would save money,” Jared mused. “But what about changing the programme?”
“I can do that,” Kyrone assured him. “Plus Mac, the assistant manager at Heaven and Hell, used to work as a trainer at a gym. I can always ask him to check over any changes I make. If you don’t mind,” he added hurriedly.
“I don’t mind.”
“Is that settled, then?”
Jared nodded.
“Good. Are you up to getting changed and going home?”
“Yes.”
While Jared took a shower and got dressed in his normal clothes, Kyrone used his phone to take photos of Jared’s exercise card.
“Your flat?” Jared asked as he flopped down onto the bench beside Kyrone once he was ready to go.
“Home,” Kyrone agreed. “So I can snuggle you, just like I promised I would.”
Smiling, Jared hugged Kyrone and stroked his chest. “Sometimes you feel too good to be true.”
“I’m awesome.”
“You really are.”
Kyrone tipped Jared’s chin up. “And so are you.”
Jared wrinkled his nose. “From cocky to soppy in three seconds. Impressive.”
They both laughed. “Home,” Kyrone repeated, helping Jared to stand.
“For snuggling,” Jared agreed.
