“You didn’t just ask me to move in with you,” he said as he put everything down.

“That’s true,” Kyrone said.

Jared looked into his eyes. “I thought you might want an answer to the second question.” He rolled his eyes. “If you still remember what you asked me?”

“I couldn’t forget,” Kyrone breathed. “I asked you to marry me.” His heart was thundering in his chest as Jared’s stare bored into him. “Will you?”

Jared’s lips curled into a smile. He stayed quiet, making Kyrone feel like he would burst with anticipation.

“You’re teasing me,” he grumbled.

“Yes.”

Kyrone lifted his eyebrows. “‘Yes’ you’re teasing me, or ‘yes’ you’ll marry me?”

Jared shrugged. “Both.”

Kyrone let out a loud whoop before jumping out of the chair so he could pull Jared into his arms, kissing and holding him.

“Careful with your tattoo,” Jared warned as Kyrone winced.

“You could have given me the good newsbeforeyou made me all sore.”

Jared chuckled. “Now what would have been the fun in that?”
