Page 10 of Finding Finn (Foggy Basin Season 2)
JIM
I woke up this morning and didn’t know if I should jump out of bed or bury my head in the covers.
What did I do?
I kissed him, and I didn’t actually regret it.
Fucking Ben… He put that in my head, didn’t he? But the decision had been all mine. Did he regret it? Was he having second thoughts? I mean, we did work together. It could be weird.
Oh, shit…
Buffy. She would know as soon as she saw us, wouldn’t she? She would be way too happy and make it a thing. I mean, what was it? It could be a thing, I guess. I wouldn’t be against us being a thing if he wanted to see where this would go. But he might not. He might think that it was a bad idea.
I took a shower and an ibuprofen and threw on an old t-shirt and a pair of shorts I wouldn’t mind getting dirty in.
I had some stuff I needed to do in the theater today to get ready for Annie.
I needed to hang a few lights for auditions and put some of the wooden boxes and risers away so the stage was clean.
I headed into the theatre and discovered I was the last one to arrive. I grabbed the coffee that Buffy had bought me and looked at the giant calendar she had stapled onto the walls.
“Looks good, huh?” She asked proudly. “I put in the dates of all the shows and auditions. We can add the rehearsal dates when we know they’re schedules for each show.”
“It’s scary,” Finn added. I turned to find him leaning against his door frame. He had dressed down from his normal polo and slacks. I smiled at him and was happy to find him smiling back.
“You look relaxed.”
“I’m gonna grab the bar today and give myself a little class.”
“I’m gonna clear the stage. I can have it done in an hour.”
“Sounds good. What’s on your agenda today?” He asked, letting his eyes rake over my torn t-shirt. My nipple poked out.
“Cleaning and hanging some lights for the auditions. I can move everything so you have a clear space and wait until this afternoon to hang the lights.”
“I don’t want to be in your way.”
“You won’t be.”
“Ok…”
“How was the tour?”
“What?” I asked confusedly.
“You showed Finn around yesterday.”
“Oh, yeah. It was good. Was it good for you, Finn?” I looked at him and he smiled.
“It was… Yeah, it was good.” Our eyes met, and I couldn’t pull my gaze away.
“You two are so weird. I’m getting back to the budget for Annie. I need your lumber numbers, Finn.”
“Won’t be much. We have most of the sets. All I’ll need is a lot of paint. But I’ll pull them out later this week and tell you if I need to fix anything. Cool?”
“Sure.” She looked from me to Finn. “Huh… Alright, I’m gonna just… go back to my desk.”
“Good morning.”
“Good morning.”
“Can I… I think I should show you something in the theatre before I get to work. You have time?”
“Yeah… I’m… Sure.”
I walked out the door and could feel him behind me. We walked through the lobby and into the theatre. I walked across the stage and could feel him just a step behind. As soon as we walked through the wings and into the backstage area, I turned and took him in my arms.
“You ok?”
“Yes. You?”
I bent down and pressed my lips to him. He melted in my arms, and I pressed him tighter into me.
I slid my tongue against his, and he sighed as our kiss deepened.
His hand pressed against my chest, and I felt his fingers slide down until He found the bottom of my shirt.
His hand slid against my bare skin. I moaned into him.
“I knew it!” Buffy screamed way too happily.
Finn and I quickly broke apart.
“Oh, no. Don’t stop because of me. I have things to do.” She turned and walked back to her office with a pep in her step.
“Your sister is…”
“Happy. I think she’s happy. It’s very annoying.” I smirked.
“It’s sweet.”
“What are you doing tonight?” I asked, stepping closer to him once again.
“Nothing.”
“Do you want some plans? We could… I mean, we could grab some food and you could come over to my place.”
“Oh… Ok.”
“Yeah,” I pulled him into my arms again. “I mean, we could be alone and get to know each other better.”
“How much better?” He blushed.
“Much better. Why the hell not, right? We’re adults and I… You’re really beautiful.”
“You’re too hot. It hurts to look at you.”
“So tonight?”
“Yes.”
“I was worried that you might… I mean, after last night I wasn’t sure that today you’d still…”
“I do.”
“Alright. I’ll clear the stage.”
“I’ll go get grilled by your sister.”
“Totally. She’s very nosy and really wants me to have a boyfriend. Sorry.”
“I’ll survive. She’s… I really like her.”
“And me?”
“Oh, I think you can figure that out.”
“Four days. I’ve only known you for four days. This could… If either one of us starts to… You know, feel differently, we have to be honest with each other.”
“Agreed.”
“Ok… Good. I’ll clear the stage so you can… What are you doing?”
“I’m going to do some barre work. I can use a chair if I need to.”
“I think we have a barre form when we did A Chorus Line. I’ll see if I can find it. I’ll have to go check out storage.”
“Ok… That would be great.”
“I’ll see you in about an hour.”
“That’s a long… See you in an hour.”
I watched him walk across the stage and marveled at how his body moved. God, he was pretty. In those shorts, his ass was a true thing of beauty.
I walked out the backstage door and opened our large storage building, where we kept all of our set pieces.
After moving a few things around, I found the barre in the upper storage space.
I grabbed it and brought it back inside after checking some of the large set pieces I’d use for Annie.
The wood was still good, but I’d need to replace a few of the braces.
I carried it onto the stage and started moving the large wooden blocks off to the wings.
After an hour of sweaty work, I heard the door open.
“Finn?” I walked around the curtain and saw Buffy standing there.
“You’ve been holding out on me,” she said crossly.
“It just… happened.”
“What happened?”
“We kissed, ok? Last night at Pints and pool. It just happened.”
“Liar. Nothing just happens with you.”
“What do you want me to say? He’s hot and I… I like him, alright. He’s not like everyone else around here, and I find him interesting. I thought this was what you wanted?”
“I did, but… Look, you know that I adore you, and I really like him. But what if this doesn’t work out? We all work together.”
“We know. We’re being… smart.”
“Slow is the word I think you mean to say.”
“Well… Yeah.” I lied. I planned on doing some very nasty things to him tonight, and I was fairly sure he didn’t mind.
“I love you.”
“Love you too, sis.”
“Do not fuck this up.”
I held my hands up, and she huffed before turning away and walking back into her office. God, it was hot in here. I walked over and turned on the air.
I took my old dirty t-shirt off and threw it on the front row of chairs before heading into the small tech office.
I fiddled with my lighting plan and where I’d hang the lights for the auditions. A little while later, Finn walked in and walked over to the barre I had placed in the middle of the stage. I watched him as he stretched. His body was so lithe and tight as he bent into one contortion after another.
He stepped up to the barre and began going through his routine.
His leg muscles popped with every movement, and I couldn’t take my eyes off him.
I watched from the booth as his body tensed and loosened with every movement.
He grabbed his ankle as he held onto the barre with one hand and slowly raised it above his head.
It was beautiful and I knew how difficult it was.
He slowly lowered it, and his thigh burst into muscle.
He moved the barre out of the way, and I watched him go to one side of the stage.
He pulled himself tightly upright, and then he burst across the stage in a flurry of spins and jumps.
It was beautiful.
He was beautiful.
He was amazing at what he did. No wonder he had been on Broadway. He was remarkable.
My cock hardened as I stared at him gracefully move across the floor. One series of dance moves after another. I reached down and grabbed my cock in my hand and squeezed.
He looked up and smiled at me. I couldn’t wait until tonight. I wanted to explore every inch of him.
