Page 46 of Claimed By Fangs and Darkness
There was no evidence of repulsion for what I’d done, for who I truly was at my core. No hint of him falling out of love with me.
My lip quivered. My hand tangled in Kylo’s dark blue shirt, the color he wore so I never had to see him in all black.
He’d been protecting me since the beginning, before he even knew why I was on the run.
More pieces of me fell into place for him; I could see it in his thoughtful gaze. All of my little quirks and fears and hopes and triggers. He saw why I was the way I was, and how excruciatingly difficult it was for me to finally stand my ground andfight.
“I feel cut open before you,” I admitted.
Kylo grinned. “Good. I fucking love to see you so exposed.” He returned to his careful needlework. “You’re mine, baby. Mine to take care of, to admire, to cherish, and to worship. And the funny thing is?”
I tried once more not to move my thighs together as Kylo marked my body forever.
“I think being seen and understood in your entirety is what you’ve most wanted all along.”
I exhaled. He was right.
All of me lay bare to him. I was clay to mold in his broad hands, a cut of marble to sculpt delicately into art.
Kylo inhaled deeply, a familiar look eclipsing his eyes as they darted to my soaked panties.
“Godsdammit, Evie,” he cursed. “I love everything about you.” He strained, and a glint of candlelight reflected in his aching fangs. “Everything.” His voice was gravelly, his touch becoming rougher where he gripped my thigh. “Now stop distracting me with your sweet, needy cunt. Allow me to stain this perfect body with darkness before I lose control and start marking you with far different substances.”
My breath hitched, my core molten. “Distract?” I asked. “I’ve done nothing of the sort.”
Kylo growled, manhandling me roughly to shift to my side before biting the flesh above my ribs. I squealed. It was a shallow bite, a brief burst of pain without the breaking of skin.
“The cute noises you make when I hurt you only encourage me to hurt you more,” Kylo said with a sigh. “It’s most unfortunate.” He brought the needle back down as I panted and faced away from him. “For you. Not for me.”
The next noise that left me was more of a moan. Kylo’s inhale was rough.
“You smell so fucking good, baby,” he said. “Is my angel of darkness in another dimension right now?”
“Maybe,” I admitted.
This mix of magick, pleasure, and pain was a symphony of head highs.
Kylo chuckled. “Enjoy it. Let yourself be my pretty little canvas and nothing more.”
“Are you still able to see the symbols?” I asked, realizing I was no longer holding onto him.
“Mmhmm,” he said. “One of your shadows is curled around my ankle.”
“Oh,” I breathed. That breath became high-pitched the moment the needling became harsher, more throbbing.
“Huh,” Kylo said. “Well, that’s new.”
I opened my mouth to ask, what?but refrained. I took my hands off the wheel and let Kylo steer the ship.
When gentle fingers trailed along the freshly tattooed skin, I flinched with a sharp hiss of pain.
“Shhh,” Kylo soothed. He pressed his fingers into my raw skin. “Wow.”
My curiosity wasn’t as strong as the pleasure of submitting to him, so I abstained from peeking.
I slipped into the pain like it was a warm bath. I took everything he gave me as if my artistic suffering was an offering to the gods.
Kylo rotated me again, this time to my stomach.
