“Indeed we are,” Bane agrees, his own hips rocking into hers from behind. “Are you ready to move to a room? Or do you want to stay here?”

Her eyelashes flutter as she takes in the darkness around us, the sun having completely disappeared despite the late afternoon hour.

Winter in Iceland makes for some very long nights.

Something I hope we can take advantage of tonight.

“We’ll do whatever you want, Fallon,” Bane says softly. “We’re yours to command.”

That’s not exactly true, but I’m willing to play along for this first session together. Fallon needs a gentle introduction, one that gives her confidence and understanding of how things will be between us.

We’re not like her former mate, something she’ll understand with time. Which makes this initial experience extremely important.

Once we garner some more trust, I’ll be able to gradually increase the intensity and show her some of my preferences. And all the while, I’ll master her expectations along the way.

Because she’ll always come first.My Fallon. My firefly. My mate.

“The room,” she says, arching into me again. “Let’s go to the room.”

I grin against her neck, my lips hovering right over her thudding pulse. “As you wish, darling firefly.” I nip at her tender skin, then lave it with my tongue. “I’ll meet you and Bane there with the key.”

Kaspian has a suite on-site, one he rarely uses, as he prefers his quarters at the palace. Fortunately, there’s a spare key in the reception area.

And as I’ve stayed here once before, I know exactly where it is.

I brush my lips over Fallon’s cheek, then maneuver her into Bane’s arms so they can swim back together. She doesn’t protest and neither does he, the two of them immediately falling into another kiss that leaves both of them moaning in my wake.

My mouth curves upward in anticipation.

When Fallon told us that she wanted us, my entire plan for the afternoon shifted. I originally intended to show her around the lagoon, maybe give her a mud facial with some of the natural silica found around the edge of the water.

But that all changed the moment she said, “Please.”

My dick throbs with the memory of that single word, my desire to hear it again a pulsing need inside my mind.

I want her to beg me to make her come with my tongue. Beg me to fuck her. Then beg me to do it all over again.

And again.

And again.

“Fuck,” I mutter, painfully hard as I exit the water inside the main building.

Bane had better not take his sweet time. I need to strip Fallon and worship her with my mouth. Explore her with my hands. Devour her with my tongue.

I grab two fluffy robes from behind the towel counter and lay them out for Fallon and Bane before taking one for myself.

The adjoining hotel area isn’t too far a walk, but I shift into my phantom form to go through the walls, eager to ensure everything is ready.

Only, I pause as I reach the reception area, my eyes widening a fraction to see Kaspian leaning against the desk with the key already in his hand.

He can’t see me in my ghostly form, but he’s clearly expecting me because he’s twirling the item around one finger.

“I know you’re here, Noxious,” he says, using my full name rather than my preferred nickname.

I appear in front of him and arch a brow. “Is this where you lecture me and say I can’t fuck Fallon? Because I’m pretty sure that’s not your decision to make.”

We might play together a lot, but we’re not committed to one another.
