JASON

The last week with Patrick had been amazing.

Since he’d told him about his childhood, it was like something unlocked.

Patrick didn’t look at him like he was broken, or pity him.

He’d said he was proud of Jason. He wasn’t sure what to make of that.

Jason knew deep down it wasn’t his fault.

If he’d been there that night, it might not have happened then, but Ian had it in him, and he’d resented Izzy.

It was like he was jealous of her on behalf of his own daughters, which made no sense, because they’d adored Izzy.

It was New Year’s Eve, and he was celebrating with his brothers and their men.

He was taking Patrick with him and was looking forward to seeing their reactions.

They’d never seen Jason in a relationship with anyone.

He’d been in Liverpool when he was with Grant, and had always been single in London, even before his marriage.

He’d still not heard anything from Grant, and he’d be avoiding the conversation with Patrick, although he knew his daddy wouldn’t leave it much longer.

“Boy, come over here. We need to talk.”

Jason was instantly hard. He loved Patrick calling him boy , and always knew when he said it nothing bad was going to happen.

They were in Patrick’s flat now. Jason had been home a couple of days earlier to get more clothes and show his brothers he was still alive, but he was happy being here.

They were both back at work on the second of January, and Jason had to be in the office all week to support his new boss.

Jason joined Patrick at the kitchen table. He’d made them both a cup of tea, and the biscuit tin was there with all his favourites in it. He was going to look like a hippo if this carried on. Patrick seemed to have an obsession with feeding him, saying he didn’t eat enough.

“We’re meeting your brothers tonight. What are you going to call me?”

“Daddy,” he said, without hesitation.

“Are you sure that’s what you want? It’s different when we’re in private to being in front of other people. They’ll assume things.”

“That you spank me when I’m being a brat.”

“Is that you want, boy?”

He wanted that, but not right now. If Patrick spanked him properly, he wanted him to follow it up with a good dicking, but they needed to leave in an hour, and if there was one thing Patrick had, it was stamina.

Jason’s arsehole ached from the number of times Patrick had fucked him in the last week.

He couldn’t get enough of it. Ryder might have a bigger cock, but Patrick knew how to use his better than anyone he’d ever been with.

Not something he’d say out loud. Men were very tetchy about dick sizes and technique.

“We’ll be with my brothers and they won’t judge me about the daddy thing. They know I like it.”

“We’ve not discussed this, Jason, but it’s important. What sort of daddy do you want me to be for you?”

“Can’t you decide for me?”

“No. It has to be your choice.”

“Well, how did it work with George?” Jason gasped, and covered his mouth. “I’m sorry for saying that. ”

Patrick smiled at him. “It’s okay to talk about George. He’s part of my history, just like Grant is for you.”

“I don’t want to talk about him.”

“And I won’t push it, but we will need to talk about it soon. You’re still married to him, after all.”

Jason groaned. He wanted nothing about Grant screwing up what he had with Patrick.

“What about George, then?”

Patrick shook his head, smiling. “George was what’s referred to as a full-time boy. He didn’t work, but he had his own interests. He followed the rules I gave him, and if he didn’t, he was punished.”

“I don’t want to give up my job.”

“I’d never ask you to do that. It was what George wanted, and I was happy to support him. I know your career is important to you, and I know you’re never going to call me Daddy in front of your work colleagues.”

Jason flushed at the thought. He’d be embarrassed if they heard him say that. Then he felt bad, because Patrick might think he was embarrassed about him.

“Relax, boy. I don’t need a full-time arrangement. How about I make a suggestion?”

Jason nodded. That would be a lot easier.

“When we’re here, I’m in charge. Not just in the bedroom, but everywhere. You misbehave and you get punished.”

“With a spanking?”

“If you’re enjoying it, then it wouldn’t be a punishment, would it? How about I don’t let you come?”

Jason gaped in horror.

“Or I don’t fuck you for a week.”

“Well, that’s just punishing us both.”

Patrick laughed.

“I’m sure I’ll think of something suitable. Outside of here, or anywhere private when it’s not just the two of us, you can call me Patrick. If you feel comfortable, you can call me Daddy. I’ll follow your lead.”

“Okay,” said Jason, nodding. “What are these rules you mentioned?”

“I’m glad you brought that up. We’re both going back to work the day after tomorrow, and we won’t see each other as much. I need to know you’re looking after yourself.”

Jason wondered what Patrick was going to ask him to do. He knew it wouldn’t be embarrassing, but would his brothers know what he was doing? Langdon would love to take the piss out of him.

“You need to text me every morning when you wake up and before you go to bed. If you’re going out after work, let me know. You don’t need to ask for permission, but I want to know where you are.”

“Can’t you just download Find My Friends? I’ll forget to send a text and I don’t want to get in trouble. I just forget things sometimes.”

“I know you do, and we’ll do the Find My Friends as a backup, but I expect you to text me as well.”

“Can’t I just stay here every night?”

“You can stay as often as you want. But you’ll want to see your brothers, and you work from home a couple of days a week, so you won’t be here all the time.”

Jason pouted. He wanted to be here all the time, but then he might come across as too needy. It was how he’d been described by everyone who’d rejected him, starting with his mother.

“I also need to know you’re eating three meals a day, and not crap from takeaways.”

Jason gasped. He couldn’t be serious, could he?

Patrick chuckled. “I don’t mind you having the odd treat, but you need to eat properly. The gym will only do so much.”

“Is there anything else?”

“Are you being a brat?” he asked, his voice stern .

Jason wondered if he could push him, then decided against it. He was looking forward to seeing his brothers later, so he’d behave. He shook his head and fluttered his eyelashes.

“You’ll have to wait until next year to come now!”

“What the fuck?”

Patrick raised an eyebrow with a smirk on his face. It took Jason a few seconds to catch up. He laughed and nodded at Patrick to continue.

“If you get overwhelmed or upset about anything, I’m the first person you call. I’ve programmed your number so it’ll always ring. If you need me, I’ll always answer.”

“What if it’s a work thing? I might need to talk about a case or something.”

“I’ll leave the employment law expertise to you, but you should still call me whenever you’re upset. You can still talk to your brothers, but I want you to call me first. It’s my job to look after you when you’re upset.”

“But I get overwhelmed all the time.”

“Then call me all the time.”

“Okay, Daddy.”

“Now, let’s get a shower.”

“Ooh. Can I suck your cock?”

He couldn’t take another pounding, even if they had time. He was still a bit too sore.

“Of course, but remember, you can’t come until after midnight.”

“What?” he shrieked. “I thought you were joking.”

“Get in the shower, boy. I’ll be there in a minute.”

Jason jumped up and ran to the bathroom, peeling his clothes off. There was no way his daddy was going to let him go out without an orgasm, was he ?

Jason couldn’t believe Patrick had followed through.

He’d unloaded down Jason’s throat and then left him hanging.

Jason had tried to wank himself off in the shower, but that got him a warning about being made to wait another twenty-four hours if he didn’t control himself.

He’d been sulking on their way into Soho, but Patrick had just kept smiling at him.

Once he’d seen his brothers, he’d relaxed into the evening, though.

He was going to get his own back on Patrick later, who for now could be at his beck and call. He seemed to like it, anyway.

“Daddy, can you get me another drink?”

Patrick kissed Jason gently on the temple, and he preened under the open affection. Patrick asked whether anyone else wanted a drink before heading to the bar with Sebastian and Max. Eric was working, which left it as just the brothers.

“Come on, spill it,” said Charlie. “What’s going on with you and Patrick?”

“We’re together now.”

Charlie smiled, as did Paolo. Langdon frowned.

“What’s got you looking like that, grumps?” asked Jason.

“And you’re okay with the whole daddy thing?”

“We’re giving it a go. Seeing if it works for us.” It was definitely working for him in more ways than one, but he’d keep that to himself for now.

“Jason, I love you,” said Charlie. “But if you break that man’s heart, I’ll bitch slap you so hard.”

“I’m not going to hurt him. I’m just not sure if the boy thing is right for me and he knows that. He can just be a daddy in the bedroom.”

Jason was just telling them what they wanted to hear.

They worried about him, and they didn’t know he’d told Patrick all about his childhood.

It was something he’d shared with his brothers, but that was halfway into their first year.

They’d supported him in court when he’d had to testify against his mother and Ian .

“And let me tell you this. I have never been fucked so well in my life. I swear... I mean, I’ve had bigger, but he’s got nothing to be ashamed of, and he knows how to rail me.

I actually had to have a break today, I’m that sore.

Me. Taking a break from being fucked. It’s like a Christmas miracle. ”

They all cracked up laughing.

“Never change, little brother,” said Langdon affectionately.

“So, that just leaves Gregory as the single one,” said Jason.

“Be quiet,” he grumbled.

“How is Oscar?” asked Jason.

“I have no idea.”

“At the Fitzwilliam-Smythe ball, I’m sure.”

“Who knows? I don’t go to things like that.”

“He had a date, I heard.”

“How do you know all this?” asked Langdon.

“Daddy told me.”

“And how does Patrick know?”

“Did someone say my name?” asked Patrick, smiling and carrying a tray of drinks, followed by Sebastian. “I got two for everyone so we don’t have to keep going back. It’s heaving up there.”

“Is Eric alright?” asked Langdon, standing up.

“He said for you to stay out of the way because you’ll be too distracting.”

Langdon laughed, but he still glanced over at the bar, looking worried. Jason suspected Langdon had some daddy tendencies, deep down. He’d always been the brothers’ protector, and he was the same with Eric, even though he was older than Langdon.

“What were you talking about?” asked Patrick.

“The Fitzwilliam-Smythe ball and Oscar’s date,” said Jason.

“Are you shit stirring, boy?”

“No.” Jason pouted .

Everyone laughed, including Patrick. Jason tried to look incredulous, then laughed with them.

“Tell them about the Montgomery will.”

“Jason! How do you work in HR? You can’t keep anything to yourself, can you?”

“I’m always the consummate professional, but I’m off duty now and this is juicy gossip.”

Patrick explained what he knew about the situation involving Oscar.

Gregory was paying attention. Jason could see his friend trying to mask his emotions, but there was a lot going on there.

He suspected something more was going on between Gregory and Oscar, and given their history, it was complicated.

Once Patrick had explained everything in that calm and confident manner he had, Gregory upped and left to speak with Oscar. This got cheers from all of them. Looked like it was going to be a Happy New Year for them as well as Jason.

He looked at Patrick talking to Sebastian, and his heart thudded. It hit him like a thunderbolt. The emotion was almost too overwhelming, but in a good way. Jason felt something he never thought he’d feel again: he was in love.
