“Kai,” she said softly, as if she was warning him, even though she was beaming. There was no way she wasn’t going to his nest.

“I don’t give a shit about what you two want. This is omegas only.”

“What about all the stuff from my nest?” she asked.

“We can deal with that later. We’ve got something more important to do,” he growled, squeezing her ass.

“But I can’t just leave it. I need…” She trailed off, biting her lip. “Kai, it’s my nest…”

“Don’t worry, Cas and Sin will put it all in the safe room until you find somewhere comfortable to stay.” Kai clicked his teeth as his grin deepened. “The worst they’ll do is rub their scents all over your sexy books while they move those boxes, and I’m pretty sure you’d like that.” My omega purred as he leant down to nip at her ear.

But she looked at him, her brow creasing, worrying her lip as she glanced back at the van.

Until Sin interrupted. “We won’t touch a thing, I promise. We’ll leave it in the van until you’re ready.” Though I was itching to find out what else she’d stored in her nest.

But it was more like curiosity, and it had absolutely fucking nothing to do with the possessiveness that flared up in me as Kai kissed her cheek.

He turned on one foot, sticking his tongue out at us before tugging her through the door to our pack house.

She burst out laughing, as Kai pressed her against the wall as the door slammed behind them. I felt them kiss, twisting my lips, clenching my jaw to get rid of the sensation.

And Sin just stood there, staring after them, his heart beating like a racehorse on steroids.

“That didn’t count as giving in to her,” I said after a silence that lasted way too long. “I just needed to come.” Even though I’d basically full-on submitted to her earlier.

Sin didn’t say anything. With an eyebrow raised, he simply gave me a blank, knowing look. His version of a sarcastic ‘uh huh’. Which pissed me off even more than his judgy fucking comments.

He sighed before he set off towards the door, and I was left standing there next to a packed van with a buzzing cock and a deep fucking scowl.
