Page 54 of Brandy Snap: Part Two
“If Sin gets to kiss you, then I do, too.”
Caspian edged in close as we both watched him. “I’m the one who screwed up least out of the three of us. For once,” he said, nudging my nose with his as his hand clasped the back of my neck. His fingertips pressed against the fresh bite Brandy had given me under my ear, and I winced at the stab of pain that followed.
My possessiveness fired up, and I was so fucking close to ripping his hand off.
“This is my bite,” I growled at him, knocking him away. “She bitme. Not you. So I’m the only one who gets to touch her.”
I hated the fact it was going to fade, that the bond wouldn’t last literally just because we were omegas. I couldn’t fucking stand the idea that she really could leave me if she wanted to, and the only thing that would be left were the scars.
If Sin and Cas bit her, that would never happen.
Then again, if my alphas didn’t bite her, Brandy and I would have to keep proving how we felt about each other again and again whenever the bond faded, and I would absolutely be down for that.
“You’re acting like I want to fucking touch her at all,” Caspian growled straight back.
“You can be fucked up over CamilleandBrandy. It doesn’t have to be exclusive. Though it would be nice if you could show me some actual concern.”
“You want concern?” he asked with a dangerous edge that always got me horny.
His palm flattened against my chest, forcing me back onto the bed, pinning me as Sin stripped off my skirt.
“Caspian, don’t growl,” Sin warned, but neither of us were listening.
I shivered as the tension grew, and both of them decided what to do with me.
Or, more like, how to distract me.
Caspian clicked his teeth before he dropped a soft bite on my cheek, sending pleasure quivering through me.
“What about when you fucked her?” he asked. “You went for it just the same as Sin. You’re calling me bad, but you fucking bit her, Kai. You fucking bonded with someone and didn’t even talk to us about it. You’re giving us shit because you think we’re treating you like you’re not our omega, but we’re also your alphas, Kai. We’re a fucking pack. And it wasn’t like it was an accident.”
“That was—”
Cas shook his head, cutting me off. “We were supposed to let this die. We were only with her because of Camille. She’s leaving now, so we can let it go.”
Shock pounded through me at his words. My confidence slipped, and suddenly I was bending under them as I lost my composure.
“What? What do you mean?” I fell into panic too easily, and my heart fucking raced as I reached for Sin through the bond.
His surprise beat from him, but it felt too settled, like he already knew that was an option. Like it was the option we were going for. Even after everything.
But…I thought Sin wanted her in our pack. And Camille was leaving to make room for Brandy. And Cas just needed to see that Brandy was right for us and then we’d be mated.
“You…You’re really going to end it with Brandy?” I asked breathlessly.
I felt his flicker of hesitation through the bond, before a cloud swept over his emotions and he hid himself again. But it was as plain as a confession.
Cas’s gaze hardened. “She’s not joining our fucking pack. I don’t want anything to do with her. This was supposed to be temporary from the start.”
I grabbed Caspian’s hair, forcing him down to my neck for a close-up of my pulsing bite.
“Do you call that temporary? I didn’t force her to bite me. I didn’t make her do shit. She wants to be part of our pack.”
“And did she actually say that?” he asked as he yanked himself out of my grip. “Did she say the words ‘I want to join the Risler pack’? Because, even if she did, it’s a fucking group decision, and my decision is no.”
I glared straight at him. “We shared the first bites, so we’re the real mates. The only reason she didn’t get away from us was because of me.”
Sort of. I mean, she perfumed for Cas and she fucked Sin long enough that I was off my tits on champagne by the time she found me.
