Page 151 of Boys Who Taint
And I realize there and then that the only reason I’m here is because of the evil I’ve succumbed to … and that I have no other God to thank for this last meal than the devil himself.
“Disgustingly fascinated.” Biting my lip, I watch her hook her fingers around her panties and slip them down those thick thighs of hers painstakingly slow, as if she revels in the fact that she’s got us all under her thumb right now.
Because I’m not the only one staring at her with a hungered gaze.
Both Apollo and Grey seem mesmerized, despite the gun threatening to snuff out a life. Every breath of air is filled with toxic attraction, as if the mere sight of her naked body isspurring us all like animals ready to kill for a chance at a single taste.
I swallow away the lump in my throat as she tilts her head, daring me to close the gap, so I do. I hover over her, fingers splayed as I touch the air mere inches away from her skin, sliding them down as I look her directly in the eyes, her breath faltering more and more despite the fact that I haven’t even fucking touched her yet.
The darkness between us is palpable.
It’s attraction in its purest form.
A sickness that can’t be fucking cured, no matter what, threatening to eat us whole.
And I am so fucking done denying myself the pleasure of taking what should’ve belonged tome.
“Kiss him then,” I growl, watching the confusion grow.
She turns around, gazes at Apollo, then Grey, and she walks over to him with her head held high. She grabs his hands, steadying herself before leaning over his whole body with her perky tits to kiss him on the lips so sweetly it would probably melt the hearts of anyone who watched. If they had a fucking heart.
They’re kisses of desperation. Of hope. Of dreams I plan to shatter.
He kisses her back with so much absolute devotion that it sickens me.
“Wow,” Apollo says, laughing. “They’re really going at it, aren’t they?”
My fist balls as I watch them kiss, slowly ripping away the threads that held me together bit by bit until there’s nothing left to care for. Evil incarnate, just as they fucking wanted.
“Stop,” I growl.
She pulls back, but her lips still linger partly on his, but her eyes solely focused on me.
“Come here.”
Her nostrils flare, but she still does what I tell her to, because she knows what’s at stake.
When she’s in front of me, I let my eyes gorge on her perfect body again, and I slide her own damn knife across her cheek, down her neck, stopping right between her tits where the heart she gave away rests.
Her eyes follow the blade carefully, as though she’s afraid I’ll puncture her heart. But there is no world in which I could ever fucking hurt the only thing that has ever managed to hurt me.
I flick the blade up to her neck so her chin rises and she’s forced to look at me. “Now kiss me the way you kissed him.”
Aspen
I’m completelynaked in the woods … and he wants me tokiss him?
This doesn’t make any sense.
Hehatesme.
Hewantsme to hatehim.
Why would he ask me this?
My eye twitches, but I still step closer, hovering into his space like he did with me, desperate to keep the nerves at bay, because the violent electricity in the air is unmistakable.
I stand on my tiptoes to reach him, lifting my head to his mask, which still gives me chills. I hook my fingers under his balaclava and roll it down far enough to expose his lips. For a moment, our eyes connect in the darkness that binds us, and the earth feels like it’s being ripped away from underneath my feet, knowing what I’m about to do.
