Jian Ran was carried directly into the bedroom by Gu Mochen; the man had always been an authoritarian, not allowing even the slightest rebuttal from her.

All Jian Ran could do was to stretch out her small hand and hook it around the man’s neck to keep herself from falling off.

Each room in this castle was truly unique. The spacious bedroom used classic light green as the main color scheme, paired with white plaster moldings, exuding the bedroom’s freshness and nature, making one’s whole being relax.

The delicate chandelier and graceful curtains complemented each other. When the calm bedroom lights turned on, a natural sense of spiritual return spontaneously arose. It was utterly pleasing.

The light from the chandelier beautifully spilled over Jian Ran and Gu Mochen, adding a sense of blurred enchantment to the setting.

An inexplicable familiarity lingered in her heart, but for the moment, Jian Ran couldn’t quite articulate it.

Jian Ran’s face turned a slight shade of red...

In the next instant, she was carried by the man and laid down on the large bed, then he pounced on her like a cheetah.

Jian Ran: "..."

Jian Ran’s heart skipped half a beat, and she reached out to clutch the corner of the man’s shirt, still on guard in a wolf-prevention posture against Gu Mochen in front of her.

Gu Mochen slightly narrowed his dark eyes, gazing at the woman underneath him who was panic-stricken, just like a little white rabbit.

Jian Ran... always gave him the impression of being an untouched maiden.

Gu Mochen extended his hand to caress the woman’s soft, white face. Because Jian Ran and Tang Bao had just bathed, a milky fragrance emanated from her... the scent of the bath milk used for Tang Bao.

"So fragrant."

Jian Ran: "..."

Under the mesmerizing light, the man’s gaze was fiery. The feeling was as if she were his prey.

At any moment, she expected the man in front of her to devour her whole.

Jian Ran’s little face turned an unnatural shade of red... wanting to struggle... but she was restrained by the man’s iron grip, unable to move.

"Gu Mochen... I... I think we need to restrain ourselves with such matters..."

Jian Ran swallowed hard, voicing the thoughts that had been on the tip of her tongue.

Yes... restraint was necessary.

Otherwise... her petite frame wouldn’t be able to handle it.

Gu Mochen raised an eyebrow, seemingly quite interested in Jian Ran’s preemptive defense.

Her eyes lighting up with hope, Jian Ran pushed against the man’s chest with her small hand, tentatively saying,

"Gu Mochen, I think... when we discuss issues, it’s better to sit down... That way... it won’t affect the quality of our conversation, what do you think?"

Jian Ran was now trying her best to stabilize the man in front of her... by any means necessary.
