THE CLIMAX TO END ALL CLIMAXES

The enemy fell upon them like a horde of ravenous beasts.

Walren screamed as he hacked at the nearest henchmen, burying his cleaver in their faces. Bone crunched. Blood splattered. It sickened him to his stomach.

But if he didn’t hurt them, then they would hurt him.

The men yelled and jerked away, clutching their faces.

Walren’s cleaver got stuck in the fourth face he hacked into. He shrieked when huge alpha fists swung at him.

Raptor yanked them sharply to the side, jerking Walren out of the way. It jolted the knot inside Walren’s body; unexpected pleasure sizzled up his spine.

How can I possibly feel pleasure at a time like this?!

Belatedly, he realized that his cleaver was no longer stuck. Blood spurted from the screaming henchman. Walren turned, hacking at another alpha who got too close. Raptor punched and kicked the other attackers, his knot tugging against Walren’s rim with every movement.

“You sure came prepared with lots of men to do your dirty work,” Raptor growled. “Too precious to get your hands dirty?”

“I want to snatch the goods from right under your nose, while I’m at peak health,” Larei said smugly behind his henchmen. But he narrowed his eyes at Walren, his lips growing thin. “Can’t fight without a security blanket omega? Is that what you went in there for?”

“Wouldn’t you like to know?” Raptor bared his teeth.

Walren kept his mouth shut. The fewer people who knew about them being knotted, the better.

Raptor jerked them to the other side, dodging more punches. His knot tugged again. Now that Raptor had come, he moved with a lot more grace than before. He sidestepped blows and lashed out at people, his body moving like a well-oiled machine.

There were maybe ten henchmen left, all of them coming from different directions. Raptor anchored Walren against his torso, swinging his hips back when someone’s dagger came too close.

Then he threw his leg up high in a roundhouse kick. His knot pressed hard against Walren’s prostate, knocking the breath out of him.

Why did Walren’s body have to notice something so intimate? So irrelevant to the fight? They were in a life-or-death situation!

Raptor kicked someone else. His knot pushed against Walren’s sensitive spot. Walren jerked, squirting precum all over the inside of his pants. Oh gods!

It was so distracting that he completely missed the next attack.

Metal flashed, inches from Walren’s face. Raptor threw them both sideways, away from the semicircle of henchmen and into the wide open area of the parking lot.

Walren bit down his surprised yelp. By leaving the back door undefended, the henchmen could easily enter Nood’s Good to steal Zebbie.

Raptor must’ve anticipated that, because he sang, “It’s sure taking you a long time to defeat me. And I’m only using one hand. Did you hire your henchmen from the discount shop?

Larei snarled, “Kill him!”

The henchmen converged on them with a cry of violence. Raptor held Walren tight. Then he spun again, kicking up high, his knot grinding against Walren’s prostate.

With each movement and each takedown, Raptor’s knot rubbed against Walren’s sweet spot, over and over until he panted, his body throbbing with need.

In the middle of a fight.

This is crazy!

Walren tried to ignore his arousal. He hacked at the nearest enemy, only for Raptor’s knot to shove hard inside him.

He came helplessly, his body clenching around Raptor’s cock. What the hell?

Raptor hissed, smashing his fist into someone’s face. But there was the tiniest tremble in his hands. “Walry?”

“Oh gods,” Walren moaned. “Th-this is insane.”

“I’ll have this cleared up soon,” Raptor said tightly.

How was he even fighting, with his knot buried in his omega? Walren could barely think, and he wasn’t even helping right now.

I need to help, he thought. He raised his cleaver and hacked at the nearest henchman, only for Raptor’s knot to shove in deeper. Walren almost dropped his knife.

The enemy almost hit him. Raptor yanked Walren away just in time, then took Walren’s cleaver and sliced open someone’s throat.

Then he kicked someone else, and the momentum brought his knot against Walren’s prostate so violently that Walren screamed, coming again.

Cum soaked the front of his pants. Walren trembled helplessly, hating that his hands were so empty now.

“I want to help,” he whimpered.

“You can help by jizzing into their eyes!”

“There’s not enough!”

“I’ll help you make enough,” Raptor growled.

Walren gave a helpless giggle-snort. “You can’t be serious. We’re—”

Raptor punched someone else. His knot ground into Walren again, sending sparks of pleasure bursting down his nerves.

“The hell is up with these guys?” one of the henchmen said. “Are you fighting, or what?”

“Fucking. We’re definitely fucking,” Raptor said, planting a fist in his face.

“Stop yapping and take them out!” Larei snapped. “What the fuck are all of you doing? I hired you to steal the omega and the baby!”

He called back the men that he’d sent to the front of the restaurant; they came running.

Raptor snarled. One by one, he took down Larei’s henchmen, until there were only three enemies left.

Raptor looked the last two hired hands in the eye. “If I were you, I would quit now. He’s not paying you enough for your lives.”

When they hesitated, Raptor jerked his chin at the pile of bodies on the ground.

The two henchmen looked at the bodies, then at each other.

Abruptly, they turned tail and fled.

Larei gave an enraged roar. The next moment, he pulled out a gun and shot them both in the back.

The gunshots rang in Walren’s ears. The men collapsed onto the ground, blood slowly spreading across their clothes.

Walren clutched Raptor’s forearm, shaking.

“Ah. Why use your fists when you can use a gun instead?” Raptor drawled. He rubbed his palm slowly over Walren’s chest in a protective, comforting gesture. “Methinks you don’t actually know how to fight.”

Larei scoffed. “Like you can do much with one knife.”

Over Walren’s shoulder, Raptor’s smile grew. “Oh, I have done worse with less.”

Larei aimed the gun at them and fired.

In the seconds that they were in range, Walren’s blood ran cold.

Then Raptor moved.

His hips hitched upward; his knot slid hot and hard against Walren’s prostate. Walren gasped.

When he opened his eyes, they were in a different spot in the parking lot, away from the bodies and Larei’s gun barrel.

Larei narrowed his eyes. “What the fuck was that?”

He aimed the gun at them and fired again.

Raptor moved again. And his knot pressed against that spot in Walren’s body.

Larei fired again. Raptor kept on moving, in different directions so his knot tugged back and forth.

By the time Raptor paused, Walren was trembling in his arms, his cock stiff, his entire body oversensitive.

Larei did a double take. “What the hell? Why does he look like he’s just been fucked?”

Raptor smiled toothily. “Because he has. Walren has been knotted on me this entire time.”

Larei gaped like a fish. He eyed their hips, his eyebrows crawling up. “You can’t be serious.”

“Oh, I am very serious.” Raptor held Walren down and rolled his hips; Walren wheezed.

“Rap,” he cried, his voice breaking. “I’m g-going to come again.”

“Again?!” Larei watched them with growing disgust. “He’s such a slut.”

Raptor narrowed his eyes. “A slut, he is not. You don’t have the right to call him that. If Walren wants to call himself a slut, fine. But he’s perfectly happy on my cock, and he wasn’t on yours.”

Walren’s face burned. But Raptor was right. Walren much preferred where he was right now. “Your cock isn’t big enough, Larei.”

Larei’s face turned purple.

“I’d tell everyone else that their size doesn’t matter,” Walren added. “But yours will never make anyone happy because you’re an abusive asshole!”

“Asswipe,” Raptor corrected helpfully.

“My name is Hindewippe,” Larei shouted, spit flying out of his mouth.

“Oh! That’s what Uriel meant. He messaged us saying ‘Some guy named Hindy-Wip’ and it didn’t sound familiar to any of us,” Raptor said thoughtfully.

A furious howl exploded out of Larei. He charged forward, firing at them.

Only to have his gun click empty.

“Someone wasn’t counting his bullets,” Raptor said cheerfully.

Then he lunged, swinging his fist up.

His knot pressed hard against Walren’s prostate. Walren came with a cry, at the same time Raptor punched Larei viciously. Larei stumbled backward.

“I gave you a warning,” Raptor said. All the cheer dropped out of his voice. “I gave you a chance to leave, but of course you didn’t take it. Why would you? You’ve played right into my hands.”

Larei spat out a tooth. “What do you mean?”

Raptor’s smile was sharp, predatory. “You tried to kill Walren.”

Larei flicked a dismissive glance at Walren. “He deserved it.”

“No, he did not,” Raptor growled, his eyes flashing. “You’re just a bully preying on people too weak to fight back.”

He swung his fist into Larei’s cheek, punching him so violently that there was an ominous crack.

Larei roared. Only then did his eyes glow green.

He had never told Walren what species he was, but Walren had figured out that Larei was a combination of “human with odd powers”, and a shifter species with its bloodline so diluted, all he got from it were the glowing green eyes.

Larei’s powers came in short bursts, too much for a gazelle shifter to fight off.

Larei surged forward, power crackling in the air between them.

Raptor looked worried for a split second. Then he slammed the cleaver through Larei’s fist, splitting it down the middle.

Walren couldn’t watch.

Larei screamed his outrage. The next moment, energy exploded from his fist.

Raptor hauled Walren out of the way just in time. The blast dug a deep furrow into the asphalt, between the rows of parked cars.

“Try not to damage any cars,” Raptor growled. “You won’t survive long enough to pay the damages, so you’re only limited to what your parts are worth.”
