“Yes…Thank you, baby-boy.”

“You needed to relax. You’re going to kill it, Daddy.” I pressed my cheek against his thighs while he played with my hair, carding his fingers through the short strands.

“Oh, fuck. Come on. We’ll be late.” He pulled up his pants and grabbed the first T-shirt he could get his hands on. “Brush your teeth. Hurry. No. Just use mouthwash. There’s no time.”

I smirked, thinking fuck that, let the world smell my daddy on my breath, but I did what he asked, running a toothbrush quickly over my teeth, gums, and tongue, then using the mouthwash. “Fresh! Let’s go.”

On the way to the venue, everyone was chatty, talking about Star Fly opening for Kay’s band in the future, and what that might look like. Drake kept glancing at me with apprehensive little looks, but I wasn’t sure why.

We went into the venue from the back and hung out with Midnight Hunt, Bramble Punk, and all the extra people around, including Donny and his brother. Then I got to meet Mr. Coleman. “Nice to meet you, Matty.” He shook my hand politely.

“Thank you, Mr. Coleman. I wanted to tell you that I was treated very well on the trip out, and the limo driver, Mr. Booth, was super nice. I’d like to get him an extra tip or something.”

“Thank you, Matty. That’s kind. I’ll make sure it happens.”

“Thank you.” I gave a nod. I kind of wanted to hug him, but then the drummer from Midnight Hunt wrapped his arm around Mr. Coleman’s waist.

“Coleman is the best. He’ll take care of everything. Always does.” He kissed Coleman’s cheek.

“Enjoy the show, Matty.” With a nod, Coleman and the drummer walked off. I figured they had their own pre-show routine to do.

Drake kissed me on the head. “You’re too sweet, baby-boy.”

I didn’t know about that. But I did appreciate when people were nice to me. Like Donny. I waved at him as we all made our way out to the stage. Kay’s band was playing first, then at the end Drake’s band would join them, then Midnight Hunt would pop in at the very end. All three bands rocking out.

This time, Donny and I were on the side of the stage because people had paid for tickets to the front rows. That meant we werea lot closer to the bands. It was exciting, and we both banged our heads and jumped up and down.

Then Star Fly took the stage, and Drake’s growly vocals joined Bramble Punk’s singer. He was pretty good. I liked it and liked the song. But beyond that, I could see how good Drake was. His voice was rich, and he played with the audience, plus he was so much bigger than the other singer, or Kay. Hell, he was simply badass.

That’s when it hit me what they’d be talking about on the way over here. There’s going to be a nationwide tour soon. They’re going to be playing venues exactly like this one. Oh fuck. This was real. This wasn’t a one-time thing. Mr. Jinkee said it was a good way to introduce them. They expected more. I mean, mentally, I knew this all along, but emotionally? No. A part of me kept expecting my daddy to come home. To Vegas. But that wasn’t going to happen. He was leaving that old world behind. Leaving me.

Oh fuck no.

There was no way I was letting Drake leave me behind. That was my biggest fear. Drake and his band were amazing. Obviously. They had stardom ahead of them, and it was going to be hard not to let everything change. I was so good for Drake, though. And he was it for me. He had to see that. I mean, he’d said we weren’t exclusive, but I never saw him with anyone else. I was pretty sure he’d given up other boys for me. But he’d never actually said that. Yet.

Well, if our world were about to be flipped upside down, I was simply going to strap in.

Chapter two

Drake – Las Vegas

Chicago had been fun, with the high of getting up on that stage in front of such a huge audience. It was fucking thrilling. We stuck around and watched Midnight Hunt play, so even by the time we got to the hotel, I was still stoked, riding the wave.

Matty seemed nearly as excited and full of energy. He was bouncing around the hotel room until I grabbed him and tossed him on the bed.

He squirmed all over the place, pulling his clothes off and tossing them around the room without bothering to look where they went. Seeing his naked body moving around, whether we were fucking or he was dancing, never failed to turn me on. I had a half-chub by the time I grabbed him around the waist, lifting him off the bed. “Settle down.”

“I’m too ‘cited, Daddy.” And there was his little persona peeking out and amping up everything.

Well, if he wanted to go there. “Then you’re going to get a spanking.”

“Oh no. No spankies…” He wriggled in my arms, trying to get away. But I knew damned well that he wasn’t really trying.

“Yes, spankies.” I sat on the edge of the bed and tossed him over my lap. “Sit still or I’m going to hit more than your butt, and I don’t want to hurt you.”

He calmed a little but still squirmed a bit. Until I gave him the first swat. The sound cracked through the room. His little butt cheek was pink with my handprint already, but he stilled instantly. I gave him a few more swats until his ass was red and my dick was rock hard. I never thought I’d be into that or any of the stuff Matty and I got up to, but he was willing and so was I, apparently.

“Now I’m going to fuck you. Go get the lube and a condom.”
