“She died. Car accident when I was, I don’t know, six or seven.”

“Wow. I didn’t know that.”

“Not many people do. I don’t generally talk about her.” I carded my fingers through his luscious hair, watching his eyes sparkle in the low light.

“What about your dad?”

Drake grunted. “He still lives in Henderson. That’s where I grew up. He, well, he did his best.”

I put my head on his shoulder. “Well. Seems like we have some family now, and it’s growing. I really liked playing with Donny and Kay today.”

Drake chuckled. “Did you see how serious Finn was, racing against Pierce?” That was toward the end and they pretty much tied, but both went on and on about how they beat the other.

“They were funny.” When I giggled, Drake turned to me with a serious expression. “What?”

“I like to hear you laugh. Now go to sleep.” He gave me a quick kiss, then moved us around to spoon against my back. We still hadn’t declared ourselves officially exclusive, and I was almost always afraid to ask where I stood with him, fearing he’d say I was nothing. But in the dark in that Chicago hotel room, with him wrapped around me, I felt more secure than I had since I was a child.

The next morning, Drake woke me up entirely too early, but at least he had coffee. We—the band and me—were going to the venue to watch the sound check. It took two cups of coffee before I got excited, and by that time, I was sitting in the front row with Donny. He was so nice. He said he was boyfriends with Kay, but they were both littles. I wasn’t sure how that would work. I’d never trade Daddy Drake for another little. Hells no. But to each his own.

Kay was in the band, setting up on the stage. They were all messing around with the instruments and stuff. “They’ll play something in a minute. Once they get everything set up how they want,” Donny explained.

“Cool. That’ll be fun.”

Drake poked his head out from the side of the stage. “Daddy!” I jumped up and waved at him. He waved back but then disappeared again.

“Guess you guys are really out with the little thing, huh?” Donny’s expression seemed wistful, and his eyes drooped into sadness.

“Not really. I mean. I call him daddy all the time, but that doesn’t mean littles to everyone. Most people think I’m just a sex addict or crazy.” I tapped my head. “Drake knows I can’t help it. I mean, fuck, I’ve gone through shit and don’t want to be in a world that’s not fun. You know?”

Donny shrugged and looked up to the stage. Probably looking for his boo. Kay flitted back and forth between the guitar dude and the microphones.

“How did you guys get together anyway? Aren’t you a lawyer?”

“Yeah. My brother, really. He used to date Jinx, and now he dates Wolf.”

“Mr. Jinkee? Woah. And your brother was that grouchy guy who yelled at you for riding the Big Wheels yesterday, right? I thought he was your daddy at first.” I hid my giggle behind my hand.

Donny glared at me. “Yeah. Not in a million years. He can be a prick. But he’s my brother and he made me a partner in his law firm, and now I represent Midnight Hunt. I met Kay when they played at the big Rocktoberfest out in Blackrock.”

“I know about that one. Drake wants to play there.”

“They just might.” He bumped into my shoulder. “Oh, I’m sure they’re going to play there eventually. If not this year, next year.”

They jammed on a couple of songs and then invited Drake’s team to join them. Wow. It was neat seeing Drake and the guys up on that big stage. They played one of Midnight Hunt’s songs, and it sounded amazing. Donny and I jumped up and screamed and clapped.

Afterward, everyone was excited and talking about doing it again at the real show. Wow. Drake really was stepping up into another league with his band. I never thought it would actually happen. So few bands ever got recognized. Especially when they were only playing off-strip shitholes in Vegas.

Afterward, we all went back to the hotel to eat and get ready. I didn’t think Daddy Drake had ever played a show this big. He was nervous, going through his clothes to figure out something to wear.

I stepped in front of him. I had to settle him down so he wouldn’t blow it. And that was how I’d do it. “Stop. Daddy. Take a breath.”

He looked down at me. “I know.”

I grinned at him and dropped to my knees. I shoved his open jeans down his ass and pulled his boxers lower, too. Then took his big cock in my mouth. This was going to be fast and furious. We didn’t have much time, but he didn’t stop me, so I sucked him for all I was worth. It only took a few seconds before Drake grabbed my head and fucked into my mouth.

“Gah…Matty…”

My cheeks hollowed as I sucked harder. Drake exploded in my mouth with a grunt, and I drank it all down, continuing to lick around his crown until he softened. “Better?”
