He doesn’t hesitate. His kiss is a slow, deep taunt, designed to make me crave more. I shiver against him and he lets out a feral sound, pulling me even closer.

My breasts swell, my core turning liquid, and his other hand wraps around my waist, pulling me as close as he possibly can, as if determined to imprint my body with his.

The world spins, and he lays me on the soft blankets. He stares down at me, and there’s a possessive glint in his eyes that makes me tense.

He lowers his head, pressing kisses along my jaw. “It should be impossible for you to be this beautiful.” When his teeth nip a spot beneath my ear, I jolt, my thighs clenching. With a low laugh, he nips again. And again.

“Now that’s a pretty sound. Say my name like that again, and I’ll reward you, beautiful woman.”

My cheeks flame, and he laughs again, but the sound is strangely…tender.

“No one would believe you have this shy, sweet side of you. It pleases me that I’m the one to see it.”

I narrow my eyes at him, but he’s already pulling his shirt over my head. He says something in a language I don’t recognize. A language that burns my ears.

My nipples tighten until they ache, and Calysian stares unapologetically. I suck in an unsteady breath, shifting restlessly.

Calysian stares at my breasts some more. “Putting on a show for me?”

I glower at him and he laughs, his mouth capturing mine. When I bite down on his lower lip, he lets out a low growl, his hand sliding up to cup my face, holding me steady as he dominates our kiss with lips and tongue and teeth.

He kisses me until I’m dizzy, and then slowly lifts his head, lips curving at whatever he sees. I get the strange feeling he’s attempting to…tame me.

I tense, and he laughs, crushing his mouth to mine once more. This time, I bury my hand in his hair, holding him whereIwant him. He lets out a rough sound that sends warmth straight to my core.

He gentles our kiss until it turns intimate. We breathe into each other’s mouths, and he presses his body close, so warm and hard against mine.
