A thrill of excitement went through me at the sight of my husband. He looked tired, but still, that couldn’t take away from him. He still looked sexy and powerful. He looked like mine. A wave of possessiveness came over me.

I wouldn’t let anyone take him away from me.

“Why are you looking at me like that,principessa?”

“Like what?” I asked. “Like I want you? I do.”

I was feeling brave then. I wanted to be brave with him.

He smiled a little and started to take off his tie. My thigh muscles clenched when he dropped it to the floor and came closer to me. He hooked his hands under my armpits, dragging me closer to the edge of the bed, closer to him, and positioning me up until I was kneeling on the bed.

He kissed me, fisting my hair in one hand as the other fumbled with my sleep clothes. I gasped when I heard the fabric tear at my back. Pulling back, I looked to see a flash of silver glinting in the light.

“Did you… did you just rip my shirt?” I asked, even as I felt the fabric loosen around me. He smiled at me, that devilish smile that made my heart race and my head light.

“I’ll buy you more,” he replied, pulling the shirt off me.

“You’re crazy,” I said with a laugh, feeling my nipples harden under his gaze.

“Crazy about you.”

I laughed harder. “And cheesy.”

He flashed me another one of those smiles before kissing me once more.

This kiss was sweet and slow. It was beautiful. Like him.

“I want your mouth on me,” he growled, eliciting another laugh from me.

He shot me a bemused look, even with amusement glinting in his eyes. “Not the reaction I was hoping for.”

“Sorry,” I said. “It’s not that. I was just thinking about how sweet you are, and then you go and say something like that.”

His smile widened. “What do you say, baby?”

I bit my lip nervously, even if a part of me was excited about that. “I don’t know how.”

He growled in my ear, tucking the lobe in between his teeth and giving swift, sharp nips that I felt all the way down to my clit. “I’ll teach you.”

“Not as punishment?” I asked, remembering his words in the kitchen.

His expression softened. “I wouldn’t use this as punishment. That’ll come after.”

He rained his palm down on my butt cheek, startling me. I jumped and let out a small squeak, which turned into a moan when I felt him massage the supple flesh with his large hand.

“Massimo.”

“That’s right,principessa. Say my name. Tell me you’re mine.”

He let go of my hair, pulled back, and slapped the sides of my breasts. One and then the other, his dark eyes taking them in attentively.

“I’m yours,” I groaned out.

He pinched my nipple. “Tell me no one else will ever do for you.”

“There will never—neverbe anyone else,” I uttered when he tightened his grip.

“Tell me you’ll never leave me.” His voice had become guttural, desperation seeped into every syllable of his words.
