“Then what’s the big secret?”
Aaron looked him in the eye. “I’m a bad person.”
He waited for Jett to tell him he wasn’t, but instead Jett frowned, then whispered.
“How bad?”
“Really bad.”
Jett swallowed. “Like, do you hurt people?”
“When there’s cause to do so.”
“Kill them?”
“Sometimes.” Aaron thought of Trey’s threats, and how his mind had gone straight to Jett. “I’d kill for you in a heartbeat.”
Jett closed his eyes, releasing a slow breath.
“I manipulate, I blackmail. I steal. I intimidate. I’m a bad person, I do bad things. I’ve got more money than you could imagine in your wildest dreams.”
“But I always have to beg you for money.”
“I like you begging.”
Jett’s eyebrow shot up.
“I’m going to hell, Jett, no doubt about it.”
A long silence followed. Aaron waited for Jett to reject him, to ask him to leave, but instead, he whispered, so quietly Aaron almost missed it.
“Then I guess … I’m going with you.”
“What?”
Jett reopened his eyes and looked at Aaron. He sat up on the table with a wince, staring at his drying cum. “Fallen angel and all that. I’ll be in hell with you, with broken wings, a collar for you to keep me, and some very tight shorts that leave nothing to the imagination.”
“I’ve just told you I’ve killed people, and you’re not rushing to get the cops?”
“I’m a good person, you’re a bad one, and we even each other out.”
“Even if you were a god you wouldn’t balance out the shit I’ve done.”
“It doesn’t matter,” Jett said.
“My world’s polar opposite to yours. It’s dark, it’s dangerous. I’ve never tried anything with you for a reason, not only because I was scared you’d say no, but I could put you in danger. I could pull you into the dark.”
“I don’t care.”
“You should.”
Jett flared his nostrils. “I’ve wanted you for ages, I look forward to you coming to the club, for our chats at the bar, that piece of calm of whatever it is between us.”
“I feel it, too.”
“To think it could be more, I could have more of you. I don’t care what you’ve done, or what you’ll do. I’m not gonna lose who I am, I may have fallen for someone dark, and dangerous, but I’ll still be me… You’ve seduced me enough for me to overlook it, but that doesn’t mean I’ll become part of it. I don’t want to. I just want you.” Jett bit his lip and turned away. “But do you want me?”
“Of course I do.” Aaron pointed to his crotch. “I want more. I want more right now.”
Aaron looked him in the eye. “I’m a bad person.”
