Story: Beautiful Revenge
So, I’m going to take a page out of Dante’s book and kidnap Aria. I have no idea what I’m going to do with the girl. Kill her? Let her go?
What I do know is I want to cause chaos and this will piss off Dante so much, I won’t be able to stop laughing.
I look at Aria until she goes back inside her house.
My mind is already formulating a plan. This is going to be fun.
Aria
I was never one to sneak out of my house at night, just for the sheer fact that my father has security cameras all over the place. I would surely be caught.
But I can’t stay in this house. Not when Dante is going to marry me off to an old man. I refuse to be a fucking trophy wife to an old man who is too young to die anytime soon and yet too old to be a good lover.
Not that I would know what good sex is like since I’m still a virgin but I just know a fifty-year-old is not it. I shudder at the idea of an old man touching me.
So, I decide to sneak out of the house, security cameras be damned.
I steal my dad’s car and drive away from the house.
I only make it down the street when someone rams their car right into mine. I immediately slam on the breaks. With a gasp, I look around to see who did it. Some car is idling right next to me. Bastard.
I storm out of my car and glance at it. Oh god. There’s a huge dent in the side of it. My dad is going to be so angry.
But his anger won’t be able to compare to my own.
I pound on the other driver’s window. “What the hell were you thinking slamming into me?”
The window rolls down and a very handsome man smiles back at me. But his smile isn’t flirty. It’s dangerous.
“I was thinking that I needed to get your attention.” He steps out of his car and instantly, I can feel it in my gut that I’m in danger. “You’re coming with me, Aria.”
Chapter Two
Aria
“Iam not going anywhere with you,” I spit out, hurrying back to my car. “How dare you even say that to me.”
“An attitude. I like it.” He grabs me around the waist before I can make it to my car. I let out a scream but his hand is over my mouth within a second.
I bite down. No way am I going to let myself get kidnapped again.
I was kidnapped once when I was twelve years old. A man named Sergei Belov – Dante’s wife’s father – kidnapped me as a plot against Dante. I wasn’t physically hurt by it but it left its emotional scars behind. I was in therapy for years dealing with the fear of that time in my life.
And now it’s all going to happen again.
The only difference is I’m eighteen now. An adult. I have the body of a woman, not a little girl. I can fight back.
I bite down harder onto the man’s hand and he hisses and lets me go. For a moment, I think I can make it to my car but then he turns me around to face him and shoves a rag into my mouth.
“No,” I say but my words are muffled.
I try to rip the rag out but his hands are clenched over mine. I buck and fight and kick. I’m just not strong enough against this man. He’s taller than me and more muscular.
But Aria Romano is not some weakling little thing. I didn’t let my first kidnapping get me down. I will not let this kidnapping get me down either.
The man grabs me and tosses me into the back of his car. I manage to kick him in the face and it’s a satisfying sound when he grunts. That’s pain, asshole.
He shoves me further into the car, then shuts the door, locking it before I can try to escape. I rip the rag out of my mouth.
