M aybe it was the beautiful walk in the forest. Maybe it was Kaden trusting me enough to share one of his family business secrets with me. Maybe it was meeting his fourth brother and getting a good feeling about the siblings as a group.
Whatever the reason, I feel that our relationship has turned a corner. He’s been so casual about letting me into every aspect of his supposedly top-secret business, which he didn’t have to do, and this total openness makes me realize I’m not afraid anymore.
