VINCENZO

“ W ow, this is where you grew up?” Amalia asks as she gazes out the passenger side window at Teo and Lux’s home.

“It’s where I lived up until my brother got married last year,” I say, putting my car in park. “Making the penthouse my permanent residence has been a fairly recent thing.”

Amalia turns to look at me and smiles. “I can’t believe you’re finally bringing me to meet your family.”

I chuckle. “The girls have been up my ass about meeting you.”

She quirks a brow at me. “Up your ass?”

“Yeah. They said something about how it’s rude of me that I haven’t brought you to meet them and you’ve been here for a month already.” Amalia giggles, shaking her head, and I brush a loose wave behind her ear. “I wasn’t ready to share you, though.”

“Share me, huh?” she says with a smirk.

“Yeah. I’m still not, but they threatened to show up at the penthouse a few times.

I’ve been able to hold them off, but something about the way my sister said she would show up this last time didn’t sit right with me.

If I hadn’t agreed to stop by today, I think she actually would’ve tried to kidnap you. ”

Amalia laughs again. “So, your sister is persistent. Got it. What else should I know before going in there?”

“If my brother tries to make a joke, don’t laugh at it. You’ll just encourage him. He’s been doing this thing where he’s trying to be funnier lately, but it’s not working for him. Oh, and Nicco, my sister’s man, he’s … Well, he’s actually a pretty good dude. Chill. Kind of like me.”

“Mm-hm, and what about Luxtyn?”

“Oh, Lux is awesome. You’ll get along with her. You both have something in common.”

Amalia furrows her brow. “And what’s that?”

My lip curls up into a sly smile. “You both like knives.”

Amalia breathes out a laugh and shakes her head.

“And then there’s my cousin, Liana. She’s a fa?—”

“Fashion designer.”

I raise a brow at Amalia.

“I remember from my research,” she says.

“Yeah, her and Izzy actually started working together recently.”

“Bridal, right?”

I nod. “They’re pretty damn good at it too. It’s nice to see them doing something they love.”

Amalia’s shimmering eyes look back and forth between mine. “It’s pretty amazing how much your family supports one another.”

Placing a finger underneath her chin, I lift it up. “And now you’re part of that. We’re all going to be here for you. No matter what.”

I lean in and give her a kiss. It’s soft and tender, and when I pull away, the sweet taste of cherries lingers on my lips, leaving me wanting more.

“Maybe we should go back home. My family can wait,” I say.

Amalia giggles and it’s the cutest fucking thing. “You know we can’t do that.”

“But I want to.” The desperation seeps from my tone because this is exactly how my little hellion makes me feel. I want to keep her in my bed twenty-four seven with her legs wrapped around me and my cocked buried deep inside her.

She rolls her bottom lip into her mouth and it takes everything in me not to bite the exact spot she’s biting now.

Sitting back in my seat, I let out a long languid sigh. “You’re killing me, baby.”

She slides her hand over my thigh and runs it up my leg, waking my dick right the fuck up. “I promise I’ll make it up to you later,” she says, her sexy as sin voice slicing through the tension filled air.

Looking over, I take her chin in my hand and draw her to me, giving her one last desperate kiss. It’s practically a plea, silently begging her to change her mind.

“You sure I can’t convince you?” I say.

Amalia’s eyes are drawn to my lips, and just when I think she’s about to reconsider, she says, “It’s important that I finally meet your family. Besides, if we don’t go inside, your sister will just end up kidnapping me, remember?”

I let out groan, knowing she’s right. “Fine,” I say, “but later, you’re mine, and I’m going to hold you to that promise you made, Little Hellion.”
