Dom
The lawn in front of the fancy two-story house was trimmed to perfection, glowing under the soft light spilling from the screened windows.
I’d learned earlier that not a single person in the team had ever set foot in Hunter’s, and formerly Colt’s, place.
Which tracked with everything I’ve learned about Hunter so far. He seemed like the kind of person who would hate having a lot of people — strangers — in his personal space.
The cicadas outside gave a lazy buzz, like even they knew it was too hot to care.
Inevitably word had gotten out, and there were a lot more people showing up, not just my teammates and whoever they had planned to bring along. Hunter must’ve known that would be a possibility.
Which begged the question, why did he offer up his house so willingly? I had my suspicions, but they weren’t my main concern at the moment.
My sneakers hit polished hardwood, and I paused. Damn. This place was nice-nice . I leaned against the wall just behind the front door, my eyes scanning the room as I waited for Sierra.
Music thumped from somewhere inside — steady, low. Not the kind you had to yell over, which was honestly a miracle.
She thought she could go and find someone else to take care of that ache between her legs for her? She was out of her fucking mind, and obviously, I had to make my intentions clearer if she thought I’d just sit by and watch.
My Goddess wanted to play? Fine , we would fucking play.
Scrubbing a hand down my face, I caught the faintest scent of her pussy on my fingers, from when I traced her panties. I knew she’d been wet for me in the truck, and I was dying for another taste of her.
Adjusting my half-hard cock as inconspicuously as possible, I shifted restlessly from one foot to the other.
Knox caught my eye across the room and raised his cup in greeting while making a ’ thumbs up or thumbs down ’ gesture with his other hand.
I gave him a curt nod, to which he mouthed “Noice,” before I fixed my gaze on the door again.
It didn’t reek of stale beer or sweat. It actually smelled… nice. Like cologne and lemons. Then there was the fucking couch. The biggest I’d ever seen. Seriously, Hunter could probably do gymnastics on it.
What kind of party was this? This was definitely the fanciest house I’d ever been in.
Ella stepped inside, a look of amusement on her face, the object of my obsession trailing behind her. They walked straight past me, heading towards the kitchen, and I pushed off the wall to fall in step behind them.
“You’re still here?” Sierra asked with a bored glance over her shoulder.
“Looks like it, Darlin’.” The kitchen looked like it belonged in a fucking design magazine — black, sleek, all white marble, and clean lines.
“You can stop following me now, thank you.” She came to a stop in front of the counter, surveying the drink options.
I barked a laugh and braced my hands on the edge of the counter, effectively caging her in. Her plump ass brushed against the bulge in my pants, which quickly went from half hard to rock hard.
“See, that would’ve been an option if you hadn’t mouthed off. Not that I’m complaining.” She looked up at me, wetting her lips.
My dick was throbbing at the sight of her little pink tongue peeking out. “I would’ve given you some freedom tonight, not a lot, but I would’ve tried. But after that comment? Yeah, nah, Darlin’. Ain’t letting you and this pretty ass out of my sight.”
She scoffed. “You can’t be serious.”
“Fucking watch me.” I growled in her ear, savoring the tangible shiver that ran up her spine and the little hitch in her breath.
Setting the hard seltzer she had grabbed down with an audible bang, she twisted her torso around a little more, meeting my gaze head on.
“Then I guess I’ll just head home.” Her voice was defiant as she crossed her arms in front of her chest, pushing her tits up in the process.
“You and I both know you ain’t gonna do that. You’re enjoying this too much, even though you won’t admit it.” A smirk pulled at the corners of my mouth.
I dropped my nose down to the side of her neck and took a deep breath in, practically salivating at her scent. “So you’re gonna stay, and I’m gonna show everyone here who you belong to. Cool? Cool.”
I gave her ass cheek a light tap, grabbed the can she had selected, and handed it to her after cracking it open. Sierra’s eyes widened in disbelief as she let out a startled squeak.
“Hands off,” she said through clenched teeth, shooting me a fierce glare.
Cocking my head to the side, I eyed her and let her see the slow smile spreading across my face.
“Why? Because you’re scared of how much you like it? You should see yourself right now, Darlin’, pupils all blown, and I can see that pulse racing in your neck. Absolutely gorgeous…” I leaned down, putting my lips right next to her ear, “I bet this tight little pussy of yours is dripping for me.”
My breath ghosted over her neck, leaving goosebumps in its wake.
“I-I’m not … just … Jesus Christ, could you just back off for a second? I can’t fucking think!”
Relishing in the fact that I had rattled her a little, that I had broken through her cool facade, I slowly took a step back. Sierra’s chest was heaving, her eyes flicking from side to side rapidly, looking for a way out, an escape.
Good fucking luck, Goddess. There is none. I’m not going to let you get away.
“I know what you mean. I can’t fucking think when you’re around, either.” Crossing my arms over my chest, I met her gaze unflinchingly. I didn’t miss the subtle way she checked out my bulging biceps straining against the sleeves of my shirt.
“That’s not what I was saying.” She narrowed her eyes.
“Sure,” I said lightly, knowing it would rile her up.
“It wasn’t!”
“And I said sure,” I shrugged.
For a moment, I almost expected her to stomp her foot, but then she took a deep calming breath, regaining her poise. “You’re so frustrating.”
“Oh, come on. You love it.”
“I most certainly do not!” she sputtered. “Why the fuck would I?”
I licked my lips, her eyes suddenly glued to my mouth.
“Because you don’t want some fuckin’ doormat who rolls over and shows you his belly. You don’t want easy. You want someone who tests your limits.” I pointed at myself. “And that someone is me, Darlin’. You might not want to admit it yet, but I know you see it already.”
Sierra blinked slowly. “Where the hell do you get your confidence from?”
“Comes naturally,” I drawled, closing the distance between us and grabbing her hand, blissful shivers running up my arm at the touch. “Now let’s go. There are some people I want you to meet.”
She tried to wrench her hand out of my grip, but I wasn’t having any of it. With a wide, happy grin, I tugged her through the room. I loved having my girl at my side — well, more at my back at the moment, but she’d stop struggling and resisting … eventually.
“Dom!” Jax gave me a friendly pat on the shoulder when I stopped beside him. Then, he pulled Sierra around so my arm ended up over her shoulder, her delicious curves pressed against me.
Touching her freely, in public, was like this exhilarating rush. My whole body felt alive; every sensation was more pronounced, more vivid.
My dick throbbed angrily in my pants, and I didn’t care that anyone who took a second look at me could probably tell that I was sporting a hard-on.
Let them see.
Let them see how bad I was for Sierra Johansson, the goddess at whose altar I was worshiping.
“Glad to see you could make it, kid. You must be Sierra, right?” He shot me a mischievous grin, his eyes taking in Sierra curiously.
She’d stopped trying to free herself from my grip, instead opting to stand stock-still, a haughty expression on her face, as she eyed the people around us.
“Yes. And you are?” Even though she was a bit smaller than him, she still managed to look down her nose at him.
Jax raised his brows in amusement, tipping his imaginary hat at her.
“Jax. Somehow I got stuck with your boy here.” He chuckled with another good-natured clap on my back.
“Interesting. Seems like we have something in common, then.”
I snorted. “She likes me, I promise.”
“You’re delusional,” she muttered under her breath, making both me and Jax laugh.
“Blink twice if he’s holding you hostage.”
Sierra gave an exaggerated blink, then another one.
Jax pursed his lips, trying to suppress a grin. “Sorry, didn’t really catch that. Reception must be bad right now.”
Sierra rolled her eyes. Pulling her a little closer against me, I whispered in her ear, “What did I tell you about rolling your eyes?”
Her breath hitched, and I couldn’t stop the satisfied smirk curling my lips. Knox joined our little group.
“Damn, didn’t think you’d actually pull that off,” he said, eyeing Sierra.
My shoulders stiffened, and I stood up a little straighter as Sierra tried to move out from under my arm again. She glowered at me, then turned the intensity of her gaze in Knox’s direction.
“Pull what off exactly?” Her voice was sharp as a whip.
She crossed her arms, and my grin returned in light of the steel in her voice. Knox looked a little scared. His eyes darted from left to right as he sought help that wasn’t coming.
“Uhm, nothing really … I mean …” Knox shifted uncomfortably under her glare and shot me a brief glance. Then he seemed to decide that he might as well throw me under the bus.
“I was just trying to say, this guy here has apparently been all strung up on you. I mean, he wouldn’t even come out with us unless you were there, and he wasn’t sure you’d come, but you came, and here you are, and here he is.
We’re all here, and it’s great. Yep. Beautiful night for this little get-together, super glad you’re here,” he rambled, nodding enthusiastically.
Sierra regarded him coolly, not dignifying his nonsense with a verbal response.
“Wait, I remember you.” Knox looked at her with his head tilted to the side now, curious. “You’re in that one sorority. I’ve been to some of your events.”
“ Was .”
