He only smirked. “You’ll warm up soon, princess. One last chance to take off all your clothes, or you’ll have something else to be punished for.”

Fine. No luck in decreasing the intensity of my punishment after all. I kicked my shoes off first, letting them fall from the edge of the bed. My socks came next.

Then I slid my arms out of the sleeves of my sweater and lifted it over my head. Goosebumps rose on my arms as the cool indoor air brushed over them, my nipples peaking against my thin tank top.

“I’d turn the heat up for you, but I don’t think you’ll want it hot in here later.” Mercer ran a hand down each of my arms, his body heat warming me slightly. “Keep going.”

“In my walk-in closet,” I finally conceded. “Bottom drawer on the left, at the back.”
