Ada

I spent mostmy afternoons and weekend with Huxley until the summer holidays started. It was so much fun, the guys included me in so much, I made sure they spent time together as well.

Huxley didn’t officially ask me out, but he introduced me as his girlfriend to his mom the day after prom and I didn’t correct him… there was nothing to correct. I was his girlfriend and he was my boyfriend.

I loved Blair, she had taught me how to knit, it did make me think of Noah and his grandma, but I didn’t let that distract me. She had knitted me two scarfs, had apologized so many times for not looking out for me when all that bad shit went down with Lexi. And she really loved to bake with me.

I had done half a day today working with my dad, I was only into the first week of summer and I hated accounting so bad. He let me go early so I could meet up with the boys. They were going to show me how to surf. Well kinda. Huxley had got an extra surfboard, and he was going to show me how to surf on his lawn. So no waves, just grass.

They were planning a trip to Shi Shi beach and invited me to come camping with them. I was excited, I never went camping. And I wasn’t one of those girls who couldn’t rough it, I didn’t need all that papmered stuff. It would be so amazing having to survive out there without power and stuff, plus lots of kissing and maybe… some other things.

We hadn’t done anything more than kiss, and I was ready for the next level. I needed the next level.

“Hey Blair,” I called out as I walked into the house, it was always open and she told me not to knock anymore. That I was a welcomed member of the family and to let myself in as if I was one. I stopped in the living room where Grady was sitting with a man I had never seen before. “Hi,” I was surprised to see Grady home, he worked most days.

The man he was with had short black hair and big chocolate eyes. He smiled at me and stood, “Hi, you must be the amazing Ada I have heard so much about, I’m Rhett.” He held his hand out for me to shake and I took it, it was huge.

“It’s nice to meet you,” I nodded, and he let go and went back to sitting next two Grady. I stood there, not sure where Blair was or Huxley.

“Oh, sorry Ada. Blair ran down to get some more food and the boys are outside. They were like ten minutes ago at least.”

I thanked him and walked outside into the backyard. It was a warm day and the sun was bright.

I looked around and saw the surfboards laying on the grass, and shorts. I sat down next to the surfboards and picked up one pair of shorts and then another. I was excited to see Huxley come back in wolf form. He shifted for me a few times, but he always went all shy when it came to shifting back. He didn’t want me to see him naked… but then when I had thought about it, I would be the same around him. River wasn’t, he didn’t care if I was there or not, he loved to walk around with his dick out on display.

“Huxley,” I called out. I was burning up out here. I didn’t tan like Destiny; I went from my usual pale to red and blisters.

I heard the howl of a wolf and got excited. I was almost bouncing where I sat cross legged in the grass. I held onto Huxley’s pants, I would give them back…maybe.I giggled to myself as I saw the gray wolf come barreling out of the woods behind his house.

He was seriously amazing to see… except this wolf didn’t look like Huxley, he was missing that bit of white near his snout. But he didn’t slow down, he came right up into my face and sniffed me. My eyes widened at that, I swear if this was River, I was going to hit him in the snout.

I gasped as the wolf shifted into a dark-haired guy, his big chocolate eyes peering deep into mine, he grinned at me.

“Hi Ada… I’m Zayn.”
