Page 17 of These Little Heirs (Moonscale Heirs Duet #2)
My arms and legs vibrated from the pleasure leaking out all over me.
My dick dribbled and my slickness soaked Teal’s hand.
I was so fucking close. So close. Too close?
I didn’t know anymore but his fingers didn’t stop rocking inside me.
I hissed again, the sound morphing into a moan when I couldn’t hold back anymore.
I writhed on the soft comforter, my nails digging into Teal’s arm, as orgasm overtook me.
I trembled like a cat left out in the rain but every atom inside my body sang and sighed.
If it was always this good with him, I might die from cumming.
Was that possible? I’d have to look it up later when I could think straight.
When Teal’s tongue wasn’t snaking back into my mouth and distracting me.
When he wasn’t cleaning me up and snuggling me so close that I had to drift off to sleep.
Every cat loved to fall asleep in a warm place and nowhere was warmer than my dragon’s arms.
***
There was light outside the blinds when I blinked and rolled over onto my back.
The matingmoon house’s bedroom still smelled like my orgasm.
I rolled over again, searching for Teal but he wasn’t in bed.
My heart fell into my belly. Had something else happened?
That would be just like an alpha to run off and fight the bad thing and leave me to sleep off the pleasure he probed from my body.
Then the delicate sizzle of frying bacon reached my ears.
I glanced around the room, trying to discern where my clothes had ended up but gave up after a few seconds.
We weren’t expecting any guests and Teal had already seen everything I had to offer, leaving me no reason to be shy.
Still, I checked myself out in the full-length wall mirror on the other side of the room.
All the working out to stay in shape for training had paid off. I was tight and firm.
“Ripe for the taking,” my cat teased me, yawning as he blinked his eyes for the first time that morning.
He was right. I’d never been in better shape, and I’d never woken up so hard and slick even before breakfast. I sniffed the air, relieved that Teal had already put the coffee on.
I could live without the bean juice, but life was better with it.
Teal had managed to find his pants, but they were the only thing he wore as he fried bacon and eggs on the stove.
I hugged him from behind, slipping my arms around him and nuzzling into the back off his neck.
This was the way life was supposed to be.
Protein and my mate. Coffee too but that was just a bonus.
I kissed his neck good morning as he worked at the stove.
I might’ve gone lower to his dick that hardened as soon as I wrapped my arms around him and leaned in close but wasn’t risking grease burns this early in the morning.
I wasn’t sure if his dragon scales would save him from that, but I knew nothing would save me.
We ate breakfast in silence, our chairs pulled as close together as possible at the table meant to seat four. We fed each other and played footsy under the table. If someone could promise every morning could be like this, I’d retire from the job I barely started.
“Maybe I’ll retire anyway. I’ll become a professional breakfast eater,” my cat yawned.
I shook my head, shaking off his words. I wasn’t making any big decisions until all my brain cells were back on board. It was hard to think around Teal or at least it was hard to think about anything except Teal.
“Want me to wash up?” I asked, breaking the morning silence.
“You can help me load the dishwasher,” Teal grinned. “If we get behind, we can just sit them on the porch. Someone will come by and wash them.”
“I don’t know how I’d feel about putting dirty dishes outside,” I chuckled, reluctant to leave the table and Teal’s side.
We had as long as we needed in the matingmoon house but not touching him still seemed like a punishment.
We rose from the table hand in hand and loaded up the dishwasher.
Doing the task one handed wasn’t the easiest way to go about it but who said love was ever easy?
After cleaning up the kitchen, Teal led me to the bathroom.
He stripped out of his pants to show me he hadn’t bothered with underwear and turned on the water.
I followed him inside and was immediately pulled into a long, lingering kiss.
Our bodies pressed hard together under the raining showerhead.
I slid my tongue into Teal’s mouth and walked him backwards until he was against the shower wall.
I leaned against him, reveling in his warm muscles as we kissed.
When we needed to come up for air we washed each other, scrubbing in tiny, soapy circles. I washed down Teal’s abs and his breath hitched each time I swooped down close to his crotch. He was hard and the thick head of his dick was slick with precum.
“Baby, I haven’t even touched you yet,” I cooed to him. “You’re so hard. I don’t even know how you’re upright. Whenever I’m in heat, I’m rolling around like – well, a cat in heat.” I blushed at how accurate the metaphor turned out to be.
“Practice,” Teal said. “If I can keep my dragon from tearing apart assholes on a daily basis, I can keep myself from ravishing you before it’s time.”
“Which one is harder?” I asked, running the soapy washcloth down the length of his shaft.
“This. This so much.”
“You want me more than you want to destroy bad guys?” I cooed to him. “I’m flattered.”
“I want to destroy those bastards with you,” Teal said, his breath hitching at the end as I ran the soapy cloth back up his shaft.
I trembled, suddenly feeling as needy as he was. What was wrong with me? Should the thought of fighting back to back with Teal against a never-ending army turn me on? Was that even anywhere near fucking normal?
“Normal is outdated. There’s no one left from London during the war who is still normal,” my cat said, urging me to stroke our mate quicker.
His patience was waning. He couldn’t reach inside Teal to the dragon who lived there until after we exchanged the claiming vows. All the foreplay was fun for me and Teal, but our inner beasts were left longing for each other.
“We’ll take them all down, one by one,” I nodded and leaned my forehead in against his. “They won’t stand a chance. We’ll rule Moonscale London if we have to.”
Teal smirked. There was something secret and knowing there behind his eyes. For a moment I wondered if he was the one of the mysterious three who was the born first. Teal shook his head fast and hard.
“We know. We sort of remember,” Teal whispered to me, “but the spell keeps us from talking about it. Only we do talk about it in the abstract way of who we think it should be. It doesn’t matter, though.
It really doesn’t because in the end the three of us are always together.
I don’t want to overthrow my grandparents but if someone hurt them, we’d step in.
Not just to defend them but to run things in the meantime.
Our carrier has been through enough without having to move the whole family to London. ”
“Will Robin be the heir after you all?” I asked.
“Not exactly. That would be up to us to work out. We think it’ll be each of our firstborns, but we don’t want to saddle anyone with that flaming sword hanging over their head.
So, yeah, one day we might rule London, but it won’t be because we took it.
It’ll be because we were shoved into that spot.
I’ll settle for protecting our pack and flight.
I’ll settle for our little peace of paradise staying fucking paradise.
Now are you going to jack me---” he lost his words as I squeezed his dick.
The organ was so hot and hard that he came from the slightest bit of pressure. Yeah, my poor alpha was still in a rut.
“It’s being in here with your scent clinging to the water.
All I can smell is you and I never want that to change,” Teal said, pulling me in close to him.
Our lips crashed together, and our tongues met between our warm mouths.
I ran my hands up and down his sides wanting to touch every inch of him as his big, strong hands found my ass cheeks and kneaded his fingers into my flesh.
I moaned against his mouth as the slickness between my cheeks slid around from all the jostling.
“Bed,” we both said at the same time.
A second later we were laughing and stepping back into the shower to rinse the shampoo from our hair. I expected the water to run down green from his hair but whoever did his hair did a good job at baking it in there or whatever they did to it.
We slipped and slid down the hallway on our way to the bedroom because we didn’t bother to stop and dry our feet. Who had time to dry off when ancient magic demanded that you give in to your primal instincts? Not us. Definitely not us.
