She laughs. “God, I hope not.”

Crawling down her naked, sprawled out form, I find my way to her belly and kiss my baby. “Daddy loves you.”

“Don’t make me cry, Rowdy.”

“Why would that make you cry?”

She sniffles. “It’s so sweet. My heart can’t take it.”

“Your heart needs to get the fuck over it,” I grumble playfully. “I love this baby and I love you more than anything. I’m going to tell you both as often as possible. Cry if you must, but I’m never going to stop.”

Her fingers thread into my hair and she tugs me to her. “Promise?”

“On my life.”

Our mouths meet for a fiery kiss.

This kiss goes on forever and ever just like the love we have for each other.
