She smiles. “And then when we get back to Whispering Haven, we can celebrate with Katherine and Brielle. I know they’ll want to congratulate us.”
She starts giggling. “Oh my gosh, they’re going to think I’m crazy. I think I’m feeling a little bit hysterical right now. This is just really surreal. I mean, I’m so happy. This is something that happens in a movie—the stuff of dreams.
“I just never thought that something like this would ever happen to me. It’s like you’ve been a hurricane in my life, Sebastian. You walked into the hotel, you flirted with me, you seduced me. You took me on a couple of dates, and now we’re in love and getting married. Has a more perfect story ever been written? I don’t know if people would even believe me.”
Her eyes are overflowing with tears. She reaches for me and presses her lips against mine.
“This is something I’ve always dreamed of happening, but I never thought it would.”
“I suppose there are things in life we don’t allow ourselves to believe in,” I say, grabbing her hands and pulling her toward me.
She nods slowly, and I move over her, positioning myself between her legs. She gasps lightly as I rub the tip of my cock against her entrance and slide into her in one hard thrust.
She moans loudly, reaching up and running her fingers down my chest.
“Oh my gosh, why does it feel so good when you’re inside of me?”
“I wish I knew. I’d bottle it,” I say, pulling out and thrusting into her again.
“So, Willow, you’re truly going to become my wife. You’re going to make me the happiest man on earth.”
“I am,” she breathes. “I love you, Sebastian.”
She looks up at me, and I know she’s waiting for me to say the words back. But I won’t. Instead, I reach down and kiss her hard.
I’m not going to tell her I love her. I will not cross that line. I will not lie. I’ve never told anyone I love them when I didn’t. Those words are sacred to me, and even in this moment, I won’t cross that line.
She doesn’t seem to notice that I haven’t said it back, though, because her fingernails are digging into my back and her legs are wrapped around my waist. She’s whimpering and squirming beneath me, and as I thrust in and out of her, I can feel myself growing harder, ready to orgasm.
I love being inside her. I love touching her. I love being with her. I’ll miss this when all is said and done.
I don’t know exactly what I’m going to do, but I can’t wait until she finds out that she’s not the only one who can play games. She’s not the only one who can act.
I can’t wait until she finds out that she’s not calculating or seductive enough to get millions from me. In fact, I’m going to make her pay, not only for what she did to Sergio, but also for what she’s doing to me.
Because she’s confusing me with her web of lies. She’s captivating me with her smile. She’s making me fall for her, even though I know she’s treacherous.
There’s a part of me that can’t resist her, even though I know who she is inside. There’s a part of me that wishes this were real and that she really were this good woman. That’s the part of me that I hate. That’s the part that’s going to ensure that I get the revenge I seek.
Chapter Fifteen
Willow
I stare at my reflection in the tall mirror as we pass, and I can’t believe I just got married in a pair of black jeans and a bright pink top.
“We went to the chapel, and we just got married!” I sing. “We went to the chapel, and we just got married!”
Married.
Sebastian and I hold hands as we walk through the corridor of the hotel. I stare at the ring on my finger and then look up into his eyes.
“I can’t believe we just got married.”
My heart is racing, and I feel like I’m floating in the clouds. This is the most surreal thing that’s ever happened to me, and yet, I’m the happiest I’ve ever been in my life.
“I know,” he says. “I guess we’re just two crazy people doing crazy things.”
He smiles down at me and squeezes my hand, his eyes glinting as we walk back toward the hotel room.
