“That was amazing,” he says, his eyes warm, before he turns onto his back. “Are you okay?”
“I’m fine. Thank you.” I grin and then start laughing. “Why are we being so polite?” I say.
“I don’t know. Why are you being polite, Willow?”
I turn on my side and stare at him. I run a finger down the middle of his chest.
“I guess I just… I’m caught up in the moment. Things like this don’t happen to me.”
“Well, I guess they do now,” he says softly.
“I guess they do.” He runs his fingers through my hair and kisses the side of my neck. I snuggle next to him, and then I hear my stomach rumbling.
“Can we eat something?” I say, giggling. He looks at me in surprise.
“You sit there. I’ll bring it over to you.” He jumps up, grabs the tray, and brings it back, resting it on the bed.
“It looks delicious,” I say. “I do want to let you know that the risotto smells like it has a lot of garlic in it, and...”
“I don’t care if your breath is garlicy when we make love again.” He grins, touching the side of my leg. “I don’t care at all, Willow.”
“Okay. I just…”
“There’s nothing you could eat that would turn me off.” He licks his lips. “Nothing.”
“Well, then, I shall eat.” I grab a fork and take a mouthful of the risotto. I murmur in bliss, “Now this is the life.”
He grins at me. “When we go to Vegas, it could be even better.”
“Sorry, what?”
“I was just thinking. Do you want to go to Vegas?”
“I mean, I’d love to,” I say, “but I can’t. I am running the hotel.”
“You’ve got your friends, right? Brielle and Katherine, and that Mandy you said sometimes works for you. What’s the point of owning the hotel if you can’t take a break sometime?”
“I mean, I guess...”
“I want to spoil you. I want to take you to see my favorite shows, maybe a concert. I want us to just experience a fun trip together. I know it’s crazy for me to ask this. We barely know each other, but what’s life without a little craziness, right?”
I stare at him for a couple of seconds and nod slowly. I’ve lived my entire life playing it safe, being the good girl, doing what Aunt Mildred and Charlotte expected of me.
“I guess I can see if I can finagle a couple of days,” I say, staring at him. “I mean, if you really want to go, I’d love to.”
“I think Vegas will be the perfect place for us to go.” He grins and then kisses the side of my face.
“Now, hurry up. I’m ready for round two.”
I laugh and put the tray to the side. “I can eat later. I mean, I’m still hungry, but there may be something else that can satiate me.”
“Oh, yeah.” His eyes are dark now as he watches me. I push him onto his back, kiss his chest, and then kiss down his stomach. “What’s that?”
“I think you’re about to find out.” I grin and lick my lips. “I’m quite hungry for some sausage right now.”
I wink at him, and as my lips meet the tip of his cock, he groans.
Sometimes it’s fun to live life in the moment. Sometimes it’s fun to embrace your inner sexual self. I know I amenjoying it. I know that, for however long this fairy-tale moment lasts, I am going to enjoy it. And if that means an impromptu trip to Vegas, I am going to take it. I am ready to really start living my life.
