I gasp as the bed cracks beneath us, and he flips me around to be on my knees before pounding into me from behind. His hands use my hip bones as handles as he jerks me against his thrusts, and then one hand grabs my hair to yank my head back.

He flips me back over to face him, and my teeth sink into his incredible chest to take his blood in my mouth, fueling the fire already burning out of control. He hisses through his teeth as the divine twinge of pain stings his erotic need, and then his mouth covers mine as shit begins shattering to the ground from my desperate desire.

“Fuck baby, you really want me,” he pants out, and more shit falls to the ground around us as my gift seeps out of me without my permission.

My lips attack his more, and then he thrusts more powerfully to satisfy the undeniable build I’ve been needing. The shaking becomes more of a quivering as my nails dig into his back, and I scream out my ecstasy for the world to hear when I finally feel the release that has been evading me.

His hand grips my throat and he grunts through his teeth as he follows my climatic response and his warmth fills me. He collapses to my body, and his lips stroll over mine as he threatens to go another round.

“You’re incredible,” he gushes, and I smile against his lips as my legs wrap back around his waist.

“You want more, don’t you?” I seduce, and a menacing grin spreads over his face as his lips grab mine.

“I love having you back,” he smolders, and his hands grip against my ass as he jerks me to be on top.

“I thought you wanted to sleep. It’s going to be a long day tomorrow,” I play, and his eyes narrow at my teasing attempt when I lower my mouth to trail back down.

“Fuck sleep,” he provocatively bursts out, and then a smirk spreads over his face as he jerks my body up, and his teeth sink into my hip.

The explosions rumble around, and the fire reignites as the throbbing below claims him once more.

Hale. Definitely Hale.

“I’m so glad you thought to bring this much food,” I gush as I sip on the orange juice.

“I always plan ahead,” he smugly responds, and then he kisses my forehead softly before taking the seat beside me. “I’m glad you came to my room last night or this morning… whenever the hell it was,” he chuckles out.

“Oh really? You’re glad I broke in and seduced you?” I tease, and his eyebrows dance menacingly.

“It makes me feel like you’re serious about me,” he says more sincerely.

“I’m very serious about you,” I murmur genuinely, and then he pulls me to his body while bringing himself in for a citrus laced kiss.

“Good,” he breathes. “Because I’m fucking crazy about you, and I always have been, baby.”

I feel the heat reigniting once more. A knock - imagine that - suddenly interrupts us, and Hale smirks before walking to the door. I wrap up in his shirt, and then I head to the bedroom to change back into my shorts and tank top.

“Captain Banner, Sir,” a soldier says with a saluting tone.

I smile from the bedroom even though no one can see me. It’s so weird hearing Hale referred to as Captain.

“Yes, soldier?” Hale asks softly.

“Commander Jude said you brought food, Sir, and the full blood colony only has blood. I was hoping you had some to spare,” the soldier snaps out in military fashion.

“I’ve got more than plenty. I assumed very few thought to bring more than enough for one night. Have a seat,” he almost grumbles, and I know he’s a little agitated that we don’t get to have our good-morning-fuck.

“I swish out of the room just in time to see four other hybrids walking in, and Hale’s eyes narrow at me in my skimpy sleep attire I had only worn for minutes when I got here.

“Ms. Crush also came by for breakfast,” he says in explanation for my presence, but no one seems interested in my being there as they dig into the huge breakfast spread.

I smile, and he can’t stifle his grin while rolling his eyes. It’s hard for him to pretend as though we’re not together, and he walks over to almost break the rules when his hand smacks my ass on the way to his room.

My face heats up, but the soldiers are still glued to their breakfast plates. I decide to see how completely oblivious they are, and I follow him into the bedroom. His masterpiece body is bare as he steps into the shower, and I strip out of my clothes to join him.

He gasps when my hands slowly slide around his waist, and he turns to grab me up in a steamy kiss.

“I thought we were playing nice in front of people,” he smolders out, and my hand drops to grip the piece of his body that wants me the most.
