“Dammit, King!”
He goes impossibly tight as he comes, hand opening and closing on his thigh. Kat gives another greedy moan and then lifts her head, licking her lips. A rivulet of pearly white cum dribbles down his shaft.
She swipes a thumb through it, then lifts it to her lips. I stop her halfway, hand closing around her wrist. Leaning over, I suck it into my mouth, lapping up the salty slickness.
“Delicious.”
Gabe’s mouth has dropped open, his gaze hooded. I was wrong before. This is his well-fed lion expression. Sated for the moment, but regathering his strength quickly.
We can’t have that.
I don’t know why, but I want him shattered. Demolished. Thinking about this, about us, for the rest of the day.
“Ohhh—fuck—” he says as I lick him clean.
Katherine crowds in, kisses my cheek, wraps an arm around my waist. What a cozy bubble. Both of us kissing and licking, keeping Gabe’s cock at attention.
His phone vibrates beneath my forearm, and he curses again.
“Sounds like your team is looking for you,” Katherine says, a teasing note in her voice.
“He’s got a company to run,” I agree.
“We’ll just have to keep ourselves occupied until he gets home.” She closes her hand around my dick, which jumps at her touch.
I’m dead. Just dead. Killed by overwhelming lust for my best-friend-turned-lover.
What a way to go.

“What about your plants?” LaShonda asks.
It’s just after seven a.m., and the light streaming through the windows is gorgeous. I’ve already given her the virtual tour of the townhouse, not that I know my way around that well.
“As lovely as this townhouse is, there’s a severe lack of greenery,” she says, noticing the same thing I did. A lack of life in an otherwise beautifully decorated space.
King and Gabe are out for a run, and Alex is already at the office.
I feel a little guilty for tying up so much of his time over the last week, but he doesn’t seem bothered at all, which helps alleviate my guilt. I guess the internet is right. If he wanted to, he would.
“That’s on my list for this morning. The guys have Simon on standby for as soon as we get word we’re allowed back in.”
“That’s adorable.”
I hear her rooting around her silverware drawer, then a spoon hitting a bowl. Padding to the rear door, I turn the camera back on and step out onto the deck. “There’s some green. It’s just all in the backyard.”
“Did you say yard?” She leans toward the phone, clearly trying to see every detail.
“I did.” This space is paradise. Like a mini Central Park, complete with a gurgling fountain and trees that block out prying eyes. There’s a cozy bench in the corner, just begging me to grab a book. Or maybe sneak down for a rendezvous.
“I can’t imagine being essentially locked out of my place,” she murmurs.
Yeah, it’s not a great feeling. And really, up until now, I haven’t dwelled on it. But the luxurious townhome is quiet and still, which gives me too much time to think. Thus, my early morning call.
“Zero out of five stars. Do not recommend,” I say.
