“Mason,” I moan, lost in the sea of screams around us. “Oh Gooood.”
“Daphne.” He whimpers my name with such absolution as he pulses beneath my hand, spilling into his boxers as waves of pleasure roll through me, everything more intensified by what’s happening around us.
As we round a corner and I’m thrown into his side from the force, he grunts and softly laughs, easing his fingers out of me.
He lifts them straight to his mouth, sucking them clean with a smirk on his lips. “My new favorite sweet treat.”
“You’re ridiculous.” I gently remove my hand from his pants and giggle as the coaster approaches a loop.
He takes my hand in his and strokes mine with his thumb. “What’s ridiculous is that we ever spent time apart.”
I don’t know what I want from us yet. I don’t know where I want this to go. All I do know is that right now, there’s nowhere else I’d rather be.
What the hell got into me last night? Well, besides Mason’s fingers, I mean. He’s got me all wound up, and I’ve lost all sense of sanity.
Gentleman Mason returned after our little roller-coaster exhibition, and kinky Mason went back into hiding, which, honestly, I’m thankful for because I was willing to do anything that man asked last night. Which was certainly not part of my plan.
He cleaned himself up in the bathroom, and we rode a few more rides—less orgasms happening on those. And then he drove me back to the cabin.
No kiss good night. No pressure to come inside.
He handed the reins back over to me, and I was too goddamn gobsmacked from earlier in the night that I didn’t even know how to act or function.
And then a few minutes ago, I wake up to a text from him.
Mason: Good morning. Coffee and gluten-free cinnamon rolls will be delivered in a few. Hope you slept well. :)
Stepping into my slippers, I head downstairs with my phone, wearing a thin cami tank top and PJ shorts.
As if on cue, the doorbell rings, and I walk over to the door and peek through the hole.
Mason stands there in black joggers, a sweatshirt, and a backward baseball cap. I groan and rest my head against thedoor, annoyed at how stupidly handsome he looks this early in the morning.
Maybe I should be more concerned with my own appearance, but it’s not like he’s not a stranger to morning Daphne from all the sleepovers I had at their house as a kid.
I unlock and open the door, and his face lights up. And then it falls in the best of ways as he takes me in, his eyes traveling down my body, and I shiver as if it’s his physical touch.
Clearing my throat, I bite my bottom lip and smirk. “Good morning.”
His gaze flicks back up to mine, his cheeks warm and flushed. “Good morning. Nice outfit.”
I give him a little twirl. “Why, thank you.”
When I turn back around, he’s staring directly up at the sky with his bottom lip sucked between his teeth.
“You okay?” I giggle.
He blows out a long, slow breath. “Doing great. I just wasn’t ready for how incredible your ass looks in those or how I can see the outline of your nipples through your top.” He meets my eyes and wets his bottom lip. “It makes me want to come inside and have a little breakfast feast of my own.”
Now my cheeks are the red ones.
“Mason,” I whisper and look back at the stairs to see if Maeve has woken up. “Shh.”
He huffs. “For one, she wouldn’t care if she knew. And two, have you seen yourself this morning? You can’t blame me. This isallon you.” He smiles and hands over the sealed pan with two coffees on top. “Maeve’s coffee’s there, too, because I know she’d throw a fit if she didn’t get hers.”
I laugh at the accuracy. “Thank you.”
“It is alwaysmy pleasure. Trust me.” He winks, and his words hold more weight to them than they should.
