“Daphne!” Her name bubbles out of me. “Please stop whipping it around like that! It’s not a helicopter!”
Her giggle fills the shower, and my heart swells.
“Then why does it sound like one?”
Dragging my hand down my face, I sigh as she slowly stops and reins herself in.
“Thank you.”
“Technically, I didn’t break any rules because I didn’t touchit.” She saysitlike my dick is a scary monster.
Which might be a compliment, I suppose, in some way.
“So, this isn’t breaking the rules then?” I push the limits, wanting to hear that sweet giggle of hers again.
Shifting my weight to the balls of my feet, I bounce up and down, feeling her tits jiggle on my chest.
She gasps, her face lighting up in surprise as that giggle leaves her lips again. “Oh my God, Mason, stop!”
“Or what?” I laugh. “What are you going to do?”
I immediately regret saying that.
She bends down and lifts me up by my waist, hoisting me into the air. My feet dangle a foot above the tub.
“Put me down!” I shriek, kicking my feet back and forth.
So much for not looking at each other. We are skin to skin with no barriers and no blind spots.
Daphne continues laughing. “Not until you behave. Enjoy your time in air jail.”
I squint at her. “You put me in air jail?! I’m not a rabid animal! Also, this is dangerous! We are in a shower!”
She chuckles. “That’s what makes it so much funnier.”
Gradually, she lowers me back to my own two feet, and I’m so thankful to feel gravity again.
She flexes her arms. “I am so strong in this body. It’s insane that you just walk around like this all of the time.”
“You’re ridiculous,” I tell her, turning to face the water and wash off the rest of the body wash. “Think you can handle it from here then?”
“Yeah, I think so,” she mutters.
I turn, finding a hint of sadness in her gaze, and I can’t help but to be taken aback at the thought that I did something wrong.
But I know this whole situation is hard for her. If she had it her way, we would already be back in our bodies and not talking at all.
Grabbing one of the towels on the bar, I step out of the shower and wrap it around myself, leaving her alone.
“I’ll be done in just a second,” she calls out, closing the shower curtain behind me.
“No rush. I’ll step out of the bathroom to give you a few minutes alone. I’ll be in my room whenever you’re ready.”
“Thank you, Mason,” she mutters quietly.
I know that we were just naked in the shower together, but I wasn’t ready for the vulnerability it would bring out, not only in myself, but in her too.
After getting dressed and heading into my room, I keep myself busy, looking up a few gluten-free recipes as I wait for Daph. She emerges a few minutes later, and I swear my heart palpitates when she walks into my room.
