Don’t let me go
Seeing as Eli is a healthy guy, he recovered somewhat quickly after the accident. I refused to leave his side the first two weeks, playing the roles of sweet, dedicated nurse by day and his dirty, slutty nurse by night. My man can’t keep his hands to himself. He’s insatiable.
My chest physically aches thinking about how much I love him. I don’t know how it’s possible for my heart to hold such affection without bursting. Eli is my everything. It may have taken him years to catch up, but he’s making up for lost time. He never goes an hour without telling me how he feels. We haven’t spent a night apart since the car accident, and we don’t plan on changing that anytime soon.
I yearn for you, I yearn for you, I yearn for you
(Don’t ever let me go)
I burn for you, I burn for you, I burn for you
The crowd sings along with me, and it’s almost unreal. The sound of the audience’s voices hits me right in the chest, warming me from my heart to the top of my head, and the tips of my fingers and toes.
I bend over, hands on my feet, and shimmy my ass before standing up and finishing my dance routine.
When I finally sang Eli this song—broken ribs be damned—he was so turned on he made me ride his face before riding his dick. He won’t admit it, but he was in pain afterwards. During my post-orgasmic haze, Eli suggested talking to Hudson about making music and concert changes.
So, I did. With my newfound voice, I told Hudson about the changes I wanted to make. Hudson, being the amazing agent and friend he is, helped me make it happen. Within a week, I was working with DJ Reigns—who loved my songs—on my new album. I love the finished product, and it’s all mine. My words. My music. My voice.
I also love the changes to the tour. The set list now contains a mix of acoustic and pop songs. There are no more stupid stunts, just me dancing or playing my guitar, and I couldn’t be happier about it. While being a performer wasn’t my dream, I’ve learned to love it. Singing my music makes all the difference. I don’t know what’s next for my career, but with Eli by my side, I can do anything.
The second verse begins as I break away from my dancers and skip around the stage, greeting fans as they reach out to me.
I catch another glimpse of Eli, who watches me with heat in his eyes. My body shivers as images of Eli eating me for dessert last night at the hotel flash in my head. I can’t help but turn to him and sing the words he inspired.
Your wild eyes keep catching mine and pull me down under
Ocean blue, forest green, you’re more than any lover
The flame you lit, there is no cover
Heat grows between my thighs
Let us cross the line, beautiful surrender
We could blaze forever
My thighs clench, and my core throbs as the words bring memories of me and Eli to the surface. I find him watching me again and shoot him a wink.
He places a hand over his heart and mouths,I love you.
I flick my necklace, signaling I love him too, as I finish out the last part of my choreography.
The chorus hits, and my gaze lands on the rest of my family sitting in the front row. That’s right, my family. The Millers.
Mark, Karen, Jace, Rylann, Mason, Emery, Cameron, and Talia—even Scarlett and Levi—are all here tonight for my last concert in Seattle. The Millers are amazing. They are what I have always imagined a family to be like: loud, crazy, funny, loving, and loyal to the bone. They would do anything for each other, and that includes me.
I’m finally over the rainbow, and my life has never felt so complete.
Even though my mom isn’t here tonight, she is getting better. She’s just not ready to travel yet. I hope that by next year, she will join us for all these events. Mom still lives at the Malibu group home, but now that Silla is behind bars, she’s been doing the work to get better. Turns out, Silla paid orderlies to deliver threatening letters to my mom for years. I don’t like that Mom didn’t tell me, and hid her grief and fear, but I understand because I did the same thing.
Until Eli.
He helped me find my voice. It was always there, but his love and support allowed me to grab hold of it and wield it like a sword in my battle for freedom. I’m so grateful to have him in my life and for the way he loves me.
A waving Rhys catches my attention. He’s excitedly jumping up and down, and my heart melts. We still do guitar lessons over video chat, and he is such a quick learner. He can already play four songs all by himself.
Walking towards Rhys, and Scarlett’s girls, I crouch down and give them all high-fives. I wave at the rest of the Miller crew again before returning to the center of the stage.
