Her legs locked around my waist, demanding things I already planned to give her. “You’re distracted, Songbird, and you deserve a punishment for it,” she claimed with a breathless whisper.
Fuck me, this woman was everything.
“Can’t have that, can we?”
Our lips and tongues crashed together, and I fucked her until all she could do was moan and growl at me. She didn’t know how much I enjoyed her snarling and little claws raking down my back when she finally got free of me. She didn’t know how much power she held over me with only the softest whisper of my name. And I planned to keep it that way.
Her hips met mine with the same eagerness, consuming my length like it wasn’t reorganizing her insides. But then the door creaked. A demon had gotten inside.
I didn’t pause my thrusts. I devoured her mouth and speared into her, swallowing her curses and moans. After a series of powerful slaps, I slipped a hand between us and rubbed her clit to get the cheeky bird where I wanted her—quaking and coming undone under me.
Her head tilted back, putting her delectable neck on display, and the sight roused my fury and lust in one fluid movement. The brand of Hell marked her otherwise perfect skin. Until I killed the bastard who’d ordered it, it’d stay there. And I wanted nothing more than to replace it with a markof my own.
The urge was so strong I had to sink my fangs into her again and again to ensure the puncture wounds didn’t heal too quickly. Emily would wear my mark for as long as she was mine.
“Oh, shit, Z!”
I was dragged out of my head as she cried out and everything constricted around me like a bloody vise. I shuddered and pushed through the tight clench, swearing under my breath, desperate to milk the ecstasy out of her until she couldn’t move. But she wanted to fuck the monster, so I’d be one in every sense of the word.
It was only seconds of bliss before I sunk my claws into the demon who’d snuck into her apartment, and now crept through her kitchen. Emily was still arched and quivering, completely hostage to a long-lasting orgasm my venom summoned inside her.
I twisted my hand, shredded the demon’s throat and body to pieces, then bent down to drop a claiming kiss on my bird’s mouth. The sensation of a dozen demons had me spiriting from one place to another, tearing through the wankers who’d decided it was the perfect night to cease to exist.
There was no coming back from a fight with a Horseman, and most of them knew it.
“Z?” I heard my Viper call out as I slammed another demon down, boot locked on its neck before I took its head. “Where the fuck did you go?”
Another two were ripped apart before I appeared in front of her, cheeky grin firmly in place. I hoisted her into my arms, and her confusion only lasted as long as it took to pin her to the kitchen wall. “Had totidy up a bit, but I’m back.”
“Tidy up?” she asked, but her question was cut short by a gasp when I slithered down and hooked those perfect golden legs over my shoulders.
My tongue in my original form had extra length and dexterity that I couldn’t wait to drive her crazy with.
Her hands grappled my hair as I lapped at her sensitive nub. “Oh, oh okay. Carry on, birdie,” I heard the hilarious minx say.
I smiled against her slick flesh and her breathing hitched. Slipping my tongue inside, I gave an appreciative rumble at how bloody lush she was. I hadn’t been lying when I called her the sweetest thing I’d ever tasted. She was.
Emily wasn’t shy. Her fingers were a tight hold on my hair as I lapped and sucked at her wet cunt. Her hips rocked and chased my mouth, and her gasping breaths told me she was already lost to the oblivion I’d created for her. Her chest pushed out when she came a second time, the wet heat of her pulsing around my beast tongue.
“Zelus!”
I’d never get tired of hearing her scream my name—not in anger, not in irritation, not in question, and certainly not in ecstasy. I wanted it all.
My muscles tensed when I sensed another swarm. Agitation trickled in. I wanted to bury myself inside her again and make her come until she couldn’t anymore, but the last attack was just the first of many.
Emily was panting and slumped against the wall, scarcely able to keep her eyes open. Sweeping her up into my arms, my floor-eating strides had us in her bedroom before she could ask what I was doing. I laid her out and covered her with the duvet.
Her eyes dropped to my clearly unsatisfied stiffy. “What about—”
I pressed a finger to her mouth, but as vipers do, she bit it. My lips twitched up. “Sleep, little viper. I’ve got a few things to take care of.”
Her confusion twisted her little nose cutely. “What things?”
“Snake monster business,” I told her knowing full well I only had a minute or two before another demon got inside. I sensed them lifting the window in her kitchen as well.
Emily was quicker than any human I’d met, so it was only a second before she pieced it together. “Demons?”
“Rest your eyes and that beautiful body. Stay naked, love. I’ll be back for more soon.”
