Lorraine smoothed her hand over Noah’s plump backside as she spoke to him in soft tones. “Good boy. You were so good for me this morning. Obedient and enthusiastic, giving me everything as always. I can’t wait to show you off this weekend. You gonna win me a blue ribbon again?”
Noah only whimpered and nodded.
Lorraine grinned. “You looked stunning today. You have the perfect combination of athleticism and submission for this, Noah. You were made to be a ponyboy.”
I felt my chest swell with pride for Noah at Lorraine’s sincere and heartfelt words. Noah had been nothing but kind to me since my arrival at the BCR, and I could only hope the best for him.
“Too bad you can’t see your cowboy friend here. He looks so pleased for you, and he’s wearing his hat and everything.”
Noah turned toward me, making a frantic sound. The bars creaked in protest.
“Maybe I’ll let you see him a bit later. For now, I need you blindfolded, so you can concentrate on what I’m doing.”
Noah whimpered and shook his head, for all the world like a pissed-off pony. I couldn’t help but laugh.
“Right?” Lorraine said with a grin. “He’s a good little pony.”
Then Noah made a neighing sound, and the unexpected utterance rocketed through me, making me feel strange and ashamed. I squirmed on my seat, wondering why such a sound from a sexy man goofing around should make me so uncomfortable.
Lorraine must have read my expression. “Takes some getting used to,” she said, petting Noah tenderly on his buttocks and down the backs of his thighs. “But there is nothing wrong about going into your head and being what you want to be, no matter how weird it might seem to someone else. Some people are uncomfortable with animal role-play because they feel it’s a step away from bestiality. But none of these guys, or any of the staff here, want anything to do sexually with a real animal. The idea is absurd.”
I could see the truth of this. I’d spent years looking after real horses and not once had the thought crossed my mind. Interspecies sexual interaction was a pretty hard limit for me and for most people, thank God. But I couldn’t deny there was something extremely exciting about the ponyboys at the BCR. Whether it was their willingness to indulge a kink that pushed the envelope of acceptability or the freedom with which they entertained a part of their psyche others might shy from, I wasn’t sure.
“Pony play, or any type of pet play, is about accessing the primal brain where thoughts of anything but the present moment are superfluous. Animals don’t have jobs to stress about or friend and family dynamics to fret over. The animal brain is a very simple headspace to be in. Am I fed? Am I horny? Am I well-cared for? Am I loved? Can I come?” She pinched Noah on the butt cheek, making him gasp. “And the answer is no, not yet, in case you were wondering, my sweet.”
Noah huffed and shifted, his cock jutting, balls heavy and tight behind.
“Who needs meditation and anti-anxiety pills when you can be a pony for a day?” I offered. “Or six weeks.”
“Exactly,” Lorraine said, gazing at me with respect. “Have we converted you so quickly?”
“I think so. I haven’t seen anything I can object to so far.”
Lorraine nodded. “Okay. Well, I might test you this morning. But remember, everything I do to Noah he has expressly requested. And he has a safeword he can use if anything is too much or he changes his mind.”
“Okay.” I said. “What is it?”
“Hmm?”
“What’s his safeword?”
Lorraine grinned again and tousled Noah’s hair. “Tell him your safeword, Buttercup.”
“Saddle,” Noah murmured, voice husky.
“Nice,” I commented.
“Now,” said Lorraine. “We’d better get started. Noah wants some satisfaction before he’s sent back to the grooming barn. Right, sweetheart?”
“Yes, please,” Noah croaked.
“So polite,” Lorraine commented, giving Noah a hard slap on the rear again. The sound made me jump. “They aren’t all like this. One, in particular, likes to give his trainer a run for his money.”
“Luke,” I said.
“Hmm, how did you know?”
“A hunch.”
