Judging by the sparkle in the corner of Ravi’s eye, the thoughts going through his mind had nothing to do with violence. Or maybe they did? Who knew? Ravi was a sick fuck. I’d seen him do some pretty twisted shit.

“Didn’t I tell you to get out?” I growled at the naked girl sitting on my floor, then pointed at Ravi. “Stop staring at my dick.”

“You have a nice dick.” He shrugged.

Checking me out was where his interest in me ended. It had nothing to do with our varying sexual preferences. Yes, I was a strictly pussy guy, while he enjoyed both men and women alike.

Our incompatibility came from one thing. Control. Ravi was a Top no matter who he was with, and I wasn’t a Bottom. Ever. So, even if I were to bat for the other team one day, he wouldn’t be the one I'd turn to. I didn’t submit to anyone.

“Hey!” the girl clapped, causing both Ravi and me to cock a brow her way.

She was standing now and had on a lacy thong. Not that Ravi was complaining. He was a sucker for lace.

Cocking her hip, she wagged her head with a sneer, “I just want you two to know that you’re assholes.”

Did she think we didn’t know that?

“You done with that?” Ravi asked while raking his gaze down her.

“Yeah,” I absently waved. “Take her.”

Apparently, we offended my unwanted guest. Her mouth fell open with shock while she stood there staring at us, as if she couldn’t believe what we just said.

I was a dick, but Ravi took the term asshole to a whole new level.

“If you’re gonna open your mouth like that, sweetheart…” He reached down and started unbuckling his belt. “You may as well get on your knees.”

I held up my hand, stopping him. “You don’t want to go there. She’s not that good.”

Okay, I was an asshole too.

Ravi’s brow rose. “She doesn’t know how to suck cock?”

“No.” I shook my head. “I had to fuck her to get off.”

“How was she?”

I shrugged. “Eh.”

Ravi looked back at her and clicked his tongue off the roof of his mouth. “That’s a shame.”

“Oh, my God.” She scoffed, insulted. “I can’t believe you two. I’ve never met bigger assholes…” Her finger jutted out, pointing at me. “I am not a whore to be traded.”

I snorted. “You acted like a whore last night.”

Felt like one too. I had to work to get enough friction to get off. She was not worth that kind of effort.

She charged across the room and swung her hand, cracking her palm off the side of my face.

I could’ve stopped her. I was faster than her. I was faster than everyone, but that would be a wasted effort. Besides, the sting of her anger told me that I’d pissed her off, and that was more satisfying than anything she did last night.

Ravi snickered out a chuckle while her jaw clenched.

“There are plenty of guys that want to be with me.”

“Great.” I grabbed her arm, dragged her across the room, and shoved her out into the hall. “Go find them.”

“Hey,” she yelled as I slammed the door in her face. “I need my clothes.”

“Buy some new ones.”

A thud rang through the room, I assumed from her kicking the door, followed by her saying, “You have a small dick.”

Why did girls always go there? We weren’t all insecure assholes who needed to be reminded of our manhood. I knew how big my dick was. We all did.

Every man out there measured their length. I don’t know why or what purpose we had behind it, but we all had that drive to know. Just like we all, at some point, tried to suck our own dick. Any man who claimed he didn’t was a liar.

“She seems fun.”

I smacked my lips at the grin on Ravi’s face. “Is there a reason you woke me up at the ass crack of dawn, or did you just want to annoy me?”

“Maybe I wanted to stare at your fantastic cock.”

Fantastic? I’d take that compliment. “Well, feel free to follow me in the shower and stare at it there.”

I needed to wash that bitch’s cheap perfume off me.

“Don’t you want to hear about Georgia Pyne first?”

My brow arched. “Georgia Pyne?”

Was that supposed to mean something to me? Were we talking about trees for some unknown reason? When it came to Ravi, one could never be too sure. Last week, he spent an hour going on about the artificial flavor in lollipops. Why? I had no fucking idea.

“Yup,” he nodded, giving me absolutely nothing to go on.

“Why do I care about trees in Georgia?”

Ravi shook his head. “Not pine, P-I-N-E. Pyne, P-Y-N-E.”

Yeah, I was completely lost. I scrubbed a hand down my face and gave a frustrated, “What?”

“That’s her name,” Ravi explained.

I looked at the door where I could hear whistles and catcalls echoing down the hall as my evicted guest did her walk of shame. “Why the fuck do I want to know what her name is? I’m not going to fuck her again.”

And even if I did, I wouldn’t care what her name was.

“Not her,” Ravi said. “The chick who interrupted us last night.”

Oh, that smug bitch.

My hands balled as her sweet voice rang through my head.

‘Bye-bye, now.’

Let’s see how sweetly she smiled when I got my hands on her.

And I wasn’t the only one she needed to be worried about.

Slater wanted to kill her, meaning so did Ravi.

We all had each other’s backs, but the Pierce twins were inseparable, joined at the hip.

There was no wrath like the rain of fire they poured down.

“Georgia Pyne, huh?” Her name slipped from my lips like a whispered spell.

Ravi nodded. “That’s right, Georgia Pyne.”

Georgia Pyne, with a voice as sweet as a peach. I bet she tasted like one too, with her big, bright eyes and golden, blonde hair. A girl like that didn’t know the meaning of the word sour, but I was more than willing to teach her.

“You get anything besides her name?”

“Please,” Ravi scoffed, insulted. “You think I stopped at her name?”

There was a reason I sent him on an information run.

We weren’t like other people. When I said I was faster than everyone, I meant it.

It wasn’t a supernatural or magical thing where I could run around the world in a minute.

But I could hit someone, and they would feel it without ever seeing my arm swing.

Everyone in The Society had something similar. They all called it something different. My father referred to us as enhanced, whereas Levi’s dad said we were at the peak of human performance. All I knew was that we were better than everyone else.

Ravi was so agile that he could snatch a fly out of the air. His brother Slater had a similar build to a swimmer, but could bench press close to a ton, and Levi could convince a starving man to hand over his only food with a smile.

Ravi’s agility made him the perfect candidate to break into places without being seen. Thieves around the world would kill for his ability to pick a lock with nothing but a bobby pin.

“Well,” I said. “What did you find out?”

To truly destroy someone, one had to understand them.

“I found the regular stuff. Georgia’s nineteen, from a small town I’ve never heard of, or care about.

Her mother works at a diner. As far as I can tell, she has no other family.

There’s no father listed on her birth certificate, and her grandparents are dead.

She doesn’t have any social media presence or anything like that.

Her major is in geology, she’s here on a scholarship, and…

” Ravi held up a piece of paper. “I got her schedule.”

That was it? Don’t get me wrong, there was a lot there, but it was all mundane crap that I could find with a quick search. “Did you find anything useful?”

Did she have a dark secret? Did her mother owe money? Was there a mysterious death in her past? Something that we could hang over her head.

“Well…”

Ravi got this look on his face when something was up. The corner of his mouth dipped down a touch while his head tipped to the right. It wasn’t a worry or nervous thing, more like unease. And that was the look he was giving me right now.

“What?”

He rolled his eyes. “I’m sure it’s nothing.”

“You’re sure what’s nothing?”

“There could be a lot of reasons?—”

“Fuck sakes, Ravi…” I cut him off. “Spit it out.”

“Her dorm is in Craven Hall.”

That was it? “So?”

I was expecting her to be the daughter of some dangerous asshole, related to the Murphys—fuck those guys—or some super genius we had to stay away from.

“She’s in Craven House, Issac.”

Shit.

That couldn’t mean anything good. Seven dorms around campus had small houses behind them. The college claimed that they were for overflow, but that was a cover story. Despite Ravi’s claim that there could be a lot of reasons, there was only one reason someone would be put in one of those houses.

“Are you sure?” I asked Ravi.

He nodded.

Fuck.

Georgia Pyne wasn’t given a scholarship because of academic merit. Someone brought her here for one of us.

“Do you know who it is?”

Ravi shook his head. “No.”

I didn’t expect him to know. There were certain things we weren’t given a choice in, including our prospective brides. It was all about the bloodlines. That was why we were enhanced, as my father called it.

The Society came from a line of ancient druids, and our women were descendants of Salem. We didn’t marry for love. We married for power. Meaning one of us was going to have to fuck and breed Georgia Pyne.

“Maybe it’s not what we think?” Ravi suggested. “The dorm could’ve been full.”

“No, it’s exactly what we think.”

“You can’t know that.”

Oh, but I could, and he knew it too. Besides… “My father called last night. He’ll be here this afternoon.”

My father ran the American side of the Society. He only came to campus for two reasons, neither of which had to do with school. When he called, I thought he had found out about our escapade with the dean. Now, I knew better.

Ravi huffed out a sigh, “Well, fuck.”

“Yeah,” I agreed.

We all knew this day would eventually come, and none of us were looking forward to it. Least of all Ravi, who was enjoying his fuck everyone lifestyle.

“What do you want to do with her now?”

What kind of question was that? “Why would anything change?”

“She belongs to one of us.”

“Does she?” I asked back. “I don’t know about you, but no one said shit to me about it.”

Until my father said the words “She belongs to…,” Georgia was free game.

“You say that now,” Ravi arched a brow. “What if she’s yours?”

“If she is...” I leaned back against the wall and crossed my arms. “She won’t survive the trials.”

“You know it’s not that simple.”

He was right. Last year, I was Levi’s older brother’s second. It was my job to make sure he completed his four trials, and I did my job. Not only that, but he fell for her. Graham was currently back in England, happily fucking his new wife.

I wouldn’t make the same mistake he did. If Georgia were mine, she was breeding stock and nothing else. I didn’t have to like her to put a baby in her. I didn’t like any of the bitches I fucked.

“So what if she does?” I shrugged. “It wouldn’t change anything.”

One way or another, Georgia Pyne would pay for fucking with us.

Ravi arched a brow. “So, we’re still doing this?”

“Absolutely.”

There were a few things off the table, but not enough to make it difficult. If anything, we could have a little extra fun. Sympathy was for the weak.

“Alright,” Ravi said. “When do you want to start?”

There was no time like the present. “Where is she now?”
