He asked, “Everything okay this morning?”

She stepped forward and wrapped her arms around his hard, toned waist, hugging him. “Yeah. Everything’s great.”

Wow. Really, wow.She hadn’t thought that through.

His arms dropped around her, holding her against him, and he laid his head on the top of hers. “Stay for a while? Breakfast, at least?”

“I could eat.”

“Good.”

He rocked back and forth, still holding her. “I know I’m supposed to wait three days, but I’m not leaving until Sunday. Let’s go out tonight.”

The games Nicole was supposed to play seemed childish. “I’d love to.”

His arms tightened around her. “Good.”

The silence was a little long, so Nicole joked, “The villa just happened to have a strip of condoms in the nightstand’s drawer, huh?”

He chuckled. “I stashed them all over the place, just in case.”

“Oh my God, no,” she laughed. “There are condoms hidden all over this hotel room like Easter eggs?”

He lifted her head with one finger under her chin. His eyes were darker with the sunlight shining in the window behind him, and his smile turned predatory. “Want to hunt for them?”

“What’ll happen when I find them?”

His hand trailed down her waist to her hips, and then he palmed a handful of her backside. “Try it and find out.”

Nicole found the strip of condoms between the coffeepot and the sugar bowl on the kitchen counter first, so Kingston tossed her up on the countertop and had her there, which was just the perfect height to drive into her with her legs folded up as she braced herself on the cabinets.

Being tall was great. Sure, the world was made for pint-sized people, but he’d always had the high ground.

First, he lifted her onto the counter, spread her legs, and kissed down her thighs, but when he got to the top of her right thigh, he bit her,hard,and sucked her wounded skin into his mouth, marking her. Her gasp and moan sounded more sexy than pained.

She’d feel that deep bruise all week, a bit of soreness, of hurt, when she crossed her legs.

And then he tongued her until she was squirming on the countertop, nearly falling off, and drilled into her until he made her come so hard she was a limp little doll again.

Hislimp little doll with pink-blushed cheeks and dark glazed-over eyes.

She insisted she was okay this time, so he watched her stagger off to the shower, weaving over the Spanish tile on the floor to the bedroom.

If he played his hand right, he could have her until noon the next day, Sunday, and?—

Kingston grabbed his phone from beside her backpack on the chair and called the jet management company’s emergency scheduling number. “Hey, I need to change my reservation from today to two o’clock tomorrow afternoon. Maybe three. Four, if you can swing it.”

“We can do a red eye at seven.”

“Perfect.”
