“Don’t jinx it, please,” Jess sighs.

Bill picks up a rolled taquito and bites into it. “So, where you crazy kids off to this time?”

Jess and Ryan share an excited look. “Well, you might realize we’re having all Mexican themed snacks tonight…”

“You’re going to Cabo?!” Rachel gasps.

“No. Better.” Ryan is nearly squealing.

Everyone looks at me for some reason. So I tell them, “Tulum.”

Jacob and Laura make a sort ofoohandaah. But the others look confused.

“Tulum? That’s in Mexico?” Greg mumbles while chewing.

I nod.

“Oh yea, I’ve heard of it,” Bill says. “A little extravagant, don’t ya think?” He slaps me on the back.

“Nothing is too luxurious for my King and Queen.” I grin at Ryan and Jess and they both bite their lips.

“Aww,” Rachel swoons.

“That doesn’t make sense,” Bill retorts. “If they’re the King and Queen, then who are you?”

“I don’t know, we’re all knights,” I grumble. “Who cares? I’m trying to tell you about the trip.”

“Valentine’s Day is only a few weeks away!” Laura squeals. “That’s so exciting. Where are you staying?”

“This amazing little resort right on the water,” Jess says, pouring some wine.

“It’s called Abre Tus Ojos,” Ryan announces through an unwavering grin.

Greg’s brows zip. “Eat your eyes?”

“Openyour eyes,” I scoff. “Jesus, we live in New Mexico.”

“And what exactly are you love birds going to get up to in Tulum for ten days?” Rachel asks, smirking.

I share a look with my husband and wife, the three of us quaking with excitement.

The possibilities areendless.
