“What did you two do?” My eyes narrow as I hear car doors slamming.

“Nothing,” they answer in unison. Before I can accuse them of lying, the girls re-enter the building, only with more people.

“Nora!” Much as I’d love to run to her, my body isn’t ready for that kind of activity.

“Finleigh,” she breathes out and strides over to me. Wrapping me up in a warm hug, it’s the first time we’ve seen each other since before my attack. “Lord, I’ve missed you!” She tears up as she pulls back. “You look good for someone who just pushed a watermelon out of a grape.” We share a laugh until I hear matching squeals I’d recognize anywhere.

“Finny!” Bridget and Nicole come rushing over, kneeling in front of me.

“How in the world did you guys get here so quickly?” They’ve all been in different parts of the world, with jam-packed schedules.

Three sets of eyes land on my husbands. I should have known.

“We are so sorry we couldn’t make it for the wedding.” Bridget grips my hand with sincerity. “We did make it for the most important part, though. Where is my little nephew?” Her head turns until she spots Brody in Candy’s arms.

“How’d you know it was a boy?” I ask as Candy places him in my lap.

Bridget shrugs while unwrapping him so they all can see his face. “The way you were carrying him in the last few weeks. Boys sit lower.”

The day is a whirlwind of activity, with everyone passing Brody around and getting their baby fix, yet I don’t think I’ve moved once. Everyone caters to me, and I kind of love it. For a group of badass bikers, they sure know how to make a girl feel like a queen.
