A note about the flowers: It is a Serbian custom that when flowers are presented as gifts (for example, for birthdays or romantic occasions), the bouquet must contain an odd number of flowers (e.g.
, 3, 5, 21, etc.). Arrangements consisting of an even number of blooms are only appropriate as a gift for the deceased (i.e. , brought to a funeral).
