“Oh, fuck, Eva. Fuck!” I drove into her, holding her hips for dear life.

I waited to catch my breath, still pleasantly inside her.

“So, what do you think?” Eva asked, hands on her hips.

“Of what?” I panted. “It was… good.”

“No. Having another baby.”

I attempted to not panic, but my face gave me away.

“Davey, I... we… I’m sorry. I want another baby.”

She fell to my left. Knowing she would shut down in approximately three seconds, assuming I was rejecting her, I flipped on my side.

“I do, too. At some point.”

“But not now?”

“Eva, they’re five months old.”

“I know… but… I want to have a career. I want three. I’ll be happy with three.”

I brushed her cheek. “You have a career. A brilliant one.”

“I want more. I’m not done, Davey.”

I kissed her slowly. “I think we can make it all work. Somehow, someway we will.”

“So, you don’t mind?”

“It’s now or never,” I said. “We’re insane, but… when haven’t we been, my love?”
